David Sibley (born 16 July 1948) is an English actor.
He is known for character roles in several television series: as twisted radio DJ Tom Everett in BBC television detective series Shoestring (in the episode Mocking Bird); and in Doctor Who as Pralix (in The Pirate Planet ). [1] [2] He appeared on a DVD extra when this story was released recently. [3] His first regular television role was in Wings in 1977. [1]
Other appearances include Blake's 7 , Survivors , Fun at the Funeral Parlour , Target , Minder , Lovejoy , and the film Gandhi . [2] He appeared as Eric Birling in the 1982 BBC adaptation of J.B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls. [4] He returned to television in The Year That London Blew Up (1995), a dramatisation of the IRA attacks on London in 1974–75. He played John Carver in Midsomer Murders in 2010. [5] Between 2001 and 2012 he played four different characters in Doctors . In 2012 he was in New Tricks episode Part Of A Whole, playing journalist Nigel Baxter. [6] 2014 starred as Freddie in the supernatural thriller The Sleeping Room. [7]

Peter Malcolm Gordon Moffett, known professionally as Peter Davison, is an English actor. He made his television acting debut in 1975 and became famous in 1978 as Tristan Farnon in the BBC's television adaptation of James Herriot's All Creatures Great and Small stories. He subsequently played the fifth incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who from 1981 to 1984.

The Krankies are a Scottish comedy duo who enjoyed success as a cabaret act in the 1970s and on television in the 1980s, featuring in their own television shows and making pop records. Since this period, they have also regularly appeared in pantomime. The duo comprises wife Janette Tough and her husband Ian. As the Krankies they portray schoolboy Wee Jimmy Krankie (Janette), and paternal figure Ian Krankie (Ian), though in their comedy act they also portray other characters. Beginning in the 1990s, they regularly appeared as the Krankies in episodes of the BBC comedy series French and Saunders. Wee Jimmy Krankie often used the catchphrase exclamation "Fandabidozi!"
