Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic band formed in Wirral, Merseyside, in 1978. The group consists of founding duo and principal songwriters Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, along with Martin Cooper and Stuart Kershaw (drums). Regarded as pioneers of electronic music, OMD combined an experimental, minimalist ethos with pop sensibilities, becoming key figures in the emergence of synth-pop; McCluskey and Humphreys also established the "synth duo" trend in Britain during the 1980s. In the United States, the band were an early presence in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion.

"Age of Apocalypse" is a 1995 comic book crossover storyline mostly published in the X-Men franchise of books by Marvel Comics. The Age of Apocalypse briefly replaced the universe of Earth-616 and had ramifications in the main Marvel Comics universe when the original timeline was restored. It was later retconned as having occurred in the alternate universe of Earth-295.

A-Force is a comic book series published by Marvel Comics that debuted in May 2015 as a part of Marvel's "Secret Wars" crossover storyline. It was created by writers G. Willow Wilson, Marguerite Bennett, and artist Jorge Molina. It features Marvel's first all-female Avengers team called the A-Force. The team first appeared as part of an alternate universe during "Secret Wars" but later reemerged in Marvel's primary continuity.

Jadunath Supakar was an Indian artist and textile designer. He was born on 10 February 1931 in Sambalpur in the Indian state of Odisha and was known for his contributions for the popularization of handloom industry of Varanasi. He was a recipient of the Odisha Lalit Kala Academy Award and his creations have been exhibited in several countries. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest Indian civilian honour of Padma Shri in 1985. His son, Sribhash Chandra Supakar, is also a textile designer and a national award winner. Supakar is deceased.
