Deck Dorval is a pseudonym used by Frans van Dooren, Jef Beeckmans, and Jos Deckkers, for books published in Esperanto.
In their writing partnership, Van Dooren wrote, Jos Deckkers criticized and Jef Beeckmans corrected grammar and language. Their forty-year friendship was based on their mutual interests in Esperanto, philosophy, and literature.
After the deaths of Beeckmans (1975) and Deckkers (1979), their heirs gave van Dooren the right to finish works that the group had already been begun.

Leukemans joined Wanty–Groupe Gobert for the 2014 season, after his previous team – Vacansoleil–DCM – folded at the end of the 2013 season. Leukemans retired in 2015.

Geert Omloop is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist who was born in Herentals. He is the cousin of fellow cyclist Wim Omloop and the son of Marcel Omloop. He turned professional in 1997 having raced for several professional teams in 1995 and 1996 as a trainee. He became the Belgian National Road Race Champion in 2003, but lost the title in 2004 when he finished second.

Andries Beeckman was a Dutch painter of the 17th century. He is especially famous for his paintings of Southeast Asia and Batavia c. 1660. In 1657 he was known as Andries Beeckman from Zutphen and is last mentioned as finishing two paintings in Amsterdam in 1663.
