Denham R. Madena is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He captained his side on his debut for the Sri Lanka Under 19s during England's tour of Sri Lanka, against the England Under 19s. In the three match series, in which he captained all three matches, he drew all three matches. A bowler primarily, he did not go on to play First-class cricket.

The England Under-19 cricket team have been playing official Under-19 Test matches since 1974. Prior to 1991/92 they were known as England Young Cricketers.

The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup is an international cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) contested by national under-19 teams. First contested in 1988, as the Youth Cricket World Cup, it was not staged again until 1998. Since then, the World Cup has been held as a biennial event, organised by the ICC. The first edition of the tournament had only eight participants, but every subsequent edition has included sixteen teams. India have won the World Cup on a record five occasions, while Australia have won three times, Pakistan twice, and Bangladesh, England, South Africa and the West Indies once each. Two other teams New Zealand and Sri Lanka have made it to tournament finals. India is the current champion after defeating England.

Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu is an Indian former international cricketer. He played 61 limited overs matches for the India national cricket team between 2013 and 2019 and is a right-handed middle-order batsman, who occasionally keeps wicket and bowls right-arm off breaks. He plays for Hyderabad in domestic cricket, Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and Texas Super Kings in Major League Cricket.

Suchithra Alexander, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He captained his side on his debut for the Sri Lanka Under 19s during their tour of England, against the England Under 19s. In the three match series, in which he captained all three matches, he lost one and drew the other two. A bowler with the ability to add runs in the lower-middle order, scoring several half-centuries, he went on to play First-class cricket for Colts Cricket Club.

Siddarth Kaul, also spelled Siddharth Kaul, is an Indian professional cricketer. A fast bowler who bowls at about 130 km/h, he made his first-class debut for Punjab in 2007. Kaul was a part of the victorious India Under-19s team at the 2008 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and was named as one of the players to be drafted for the Indian Premier League, where he signed for the Kolkata Knight Riders. His father, Tej Kaul, played across three seasons in the 1970s for Jammu and Kashmir.

Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. A handy right-handed middle order batter who sometimes plays as the wicket-keeper, Chandimal lead Sri Lanka in the group stages of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in which Sri Lanka ended up as the champions. As of today Chandimal has scored over 5000 runs in his test career and has scored over 10000 runs in combined international cricket.

Angelo Kanishka Perera, or Angelo Perera, is a former professional cricketer, who played limited over cricket for Sri Lanka. He is a right-handed batsman and left-arm slow bowler who plays for Nondescripts Cricket Club. He was born in Moratuwa and attended to St Peter's College, Colombo. In 2019, he became only the second batsman after Arthur Fagg to score double centuries in both innings of any first class match. Perera retired from international cricket in January 2022, having last playing for the national team in 2019.

Hugh Robert Bernard is an English former professional cricketer who has played for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right-arm medium-fast pace bowler and a right-handed batsman. Bernard is a graduate of the Kent Cricket Academy and has featured in Kent's Second XI since 2014 as well as playing club cricket for Folkestone. In June 2015, Bernard signed his first professional contract with Kent. He made his first-class debut on 1 May 2016 against Glamorgan.

Weerahandige Inol Avishka Fernando, commonly as Avishka Fernando, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who currently plays limited over internationals for Sri Lanka national team. He plays for Colts Cricket Club in domestic cricket, and he made his international debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team in August 2016. He had his education in St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa.
