Deutsches Kunstblatt

The Deutsches Kunstblatt (German Art Sheet) was a journal on fine art and architecture set up in 1850 by Friedrich Eggers as the official organ of all German art associations.

It was first published in Leipzig by Rudolph and Theodor Oswald Weigel, in Berlin from 1854 onwards by Heinrich Schindler and in Stuttgart from 1858 onwards by Ebner and Seubert. Its contributors were:

From 1854 Eggers also published the Literaturblatt as a supplement to the Kunstblatt - the last volume of the former in 1858 was edited by Paul Heyse and the Kunstblatt also shut down that year.
