Communist League of Luxemburg, was a pro-China communist group in Luxembourg. Forerunner of the KBL was the Association Générale des Etudiants Luxembourgeois (ASSOSS). ASSOSS was originally a left liberal organization founded in 1912 which moved leftward in the sixties. In 1969 it was transformed in the radical Gauche Socialiste et Révolutionnaire (GSR). After the split of the trotskyist Ligue Communiste Révolutionnaire (LCR) in 1970 the majority of GSR was renamed in KBL in 1972. In 1972 Kommunistische Gruppe Luxemburg (KGL) split from KBL. In 1975 Kommunistische Organisation Luxemburgs / Marxisten-Leninisten (KOL/ML) broke away but returned in 1978. In 1979 KBL was the driving force behind the electoral Alternativ Lëscht – Wiert Iech which won 0,7 p.c. in the parliamentary elections. In the same year the majority of KBL left and founded the short-lived organization Fir de Sozialismus. The KBL ceased activities in 1980.

Maria Matray was a German screenwriter and film actress. Matray became a star of late Weimar cinema. Following the Nazi takeover in 1933, Matray, who was Jewish, went into exile – initially in France and Britain before moving to the United States. She developed a new career as a choreographer and writer. She later returned to Germany after the Second World War, where she died in 1993.

5. Kolonne was an organization using violence and sabotage to oppose the occupation of Denmark by German forces during the Second World War. The organization was formed and based in Aarhus and with some 100 members it was one of the larger resistance groups in that area in the later years of the war. The group was created in response to the destruction of the resistance groups in Jutland by the Gestapo between late 1943 and the summer of 1944. The group functioned from June 1944 to the end of the occupation in May 1945.
The Revolutionary Socialist Party, abbreviated to RSP, was a far-left party in Luxembourg. At its start, it was a Trotskiyst group active in the late sixties in the General Association of Luxembourgish Students. When the majority of students' group became Maoist and was transformed in the Revolutionary Socialist Left, the Trotskyist minority split and founded the Revolutionary Communist League in September 1970. It published Klassenkampf starting in 1970, and in December 1984 was renamed the Revolutionary Socialist Party and published Sozialistesch Aktioun until 1992.
