Evan Frank Lysacek is an American retired figure skater. He is the 2010 Olympic champion, the 2009 World champion, a two-time Four Continents champion, the 2009 Grand Prix Final champion, and a two-time U.S. national champion. Lysacek was the 2010 United States Olympic Committee's SportsMan of the Year, and the winner of the James E. Sullivan Award as the top U.S. amateur athlete of 2010. On January 22, 2016, he was inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
The U.S. Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national champions of the United States. The competition is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating. In the U.S. skating community, the event is often referred to informally as "Nationals". Medals are currently awarded in four disciplines: men's (boys') singles, ladies' (girls') singles, pair skating, and ice dancing in four colors: gold (first), silver (second), bronze (third), and pewter (fourth) on two levels, senior and junior. Medals were previously given at the novice, intermediate, and juvenile levels. The event is also used to determine the U.S. teams for the World Championships, World Junior Championships, Four Continents Championships, and Winter Olympics, however, U.S. Figure Skating reserves the right to consider other results.
Sergei Dmitriyevich Davydov is a former competitive figure skater who represented Belarus and Russia. For Belarus, he is the 2006 Cup of China silver medalist, two-time Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and eight-time (2001–2008) Belarusian national champion. He competed at two Olympics and placed as high as 7th at the World Championships (2003) and 4th at the European Championships (2007). For Russia, he is the 1998 World Junior silver medalist. After retirement from the competitive figure skating Davydov became a coach.
Julia Sheremet is a Belarusian figure skater. She is the 2006 Belarusian national champion and qualified for the free skate at the 2007 World Junior Championships.
Nicholas Kole is an American pair skater. He currently competes with Amber Kole. They teamed up in 2006 and placed 16th at the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships. In 2007 they came second at the 2008 Midwestern Sectional Championships and 13th at the 2008 United States Figure Skating Championships.
Sergei Shiliaev is a Belarusian former competitive figure skater. He qualified for the free skate at two ISU Championships – 2003 Junior Worlds, where he finished 16th, and 2003 Europeans, where he finished 24th.
Evgenia Melnik is a Belarusian figure skater. She currently competes in ice dancing with partner Oleg Krupen. She previously competed as a single skater until the end of the 2005/2006 season.

First held in 1946, the event is regarded the most prestigious of the sport and a world title is considered to be the highest competitive achievement in artistic skating. Skaters compete in many different categories such as men's singles, ladies singles, pairs, and junior categories at the World Championships.

Yakau Zenko is a Belarusian retired figure skater. He competed in the final segment at the 2016 World Junior Championships.

National figure skating championships of the 2019–20 season took place mainly from December 2019 to January 2020. They were held to crown national champions and served as part of the selection process for international events, such as the 2020 ISU Figure Skating Championships. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. A few countries chose to organize their national championships together with their neighbors; the results were subsequently divided into national podiums.
Viktoriia Andreevna Safonova is a Russian-Belarusian figure skater. She is the 2019 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb silver medalist, the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, the 2020 Ice Star champion, the 2019 Volvo Open Cup champion, and a two-time Belarusian national champion.
Milana Maksimauna Ramashova is a Belarusian figure skater. She is the 2020 Belarusian national silver medalist and a two-time Belarusian junior national champion. She finished 12th at the 2020 World Junior Championships.
Gage Brown is an American ice dancer. Competing with his sister, Oona Brown, he is the 2022 World Junior champion and a two-time U.S. national junior medalist.
Alexander Valerievich Lebedev is a Russian-born figure skater who competes for Belarus. He is the 2020 Belarusian national silver medalist, the 2019 Skate Victoria silver medalist, and the 2019 Jégvirág Cup bronze medalist. Lebedev has competed in the final segment at two ISU Championships – the 2020 European Championships and the 2020 World Junior Championships.
The 2022 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held from April 13–17, 2022 in Tallinn, Estonia. Figure skaters competed for the title of junior world champion in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation during the 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and at the 2023 World Junior Championships.
