Discotronic is the name of the Austrian dance and hands-up project of two Vienna producers, Thomas Greisl and Steve Twain (Stephan Deutsch).

History

The producer duo of Thomas Greisl and Steve Twain (Stephan Deutsch) founded the dance project Discotronic in 2006. The first single, "Tricky Disco", developed into a European club hit. In Germany, the single charted in the top 5 of the dance charts. Discotronic followed up with two more singles, "World of Discotronic / Now is the Time" and "The Master Plan."

Discotronic is under contract to the Hamburg record label, Mental Madness Records, which the German DJ and producer Dennis Bohn of Brooklyn Bounce founded and is among the most successful labels of the genre.

Discotronic remixes many successful artists in the dance scene. They have already remixed tracks for DJ Manian, Cascada, Brooklyn Bounce, Rob Mayth & Dan Winter, Yanou, Basshunter, and many others.


In 2024 their song "Tricky Disco" went viral on the social media app Tiktok

Menck and Bohn have created remixes of a wide array of artists, including Scooter and Kool & the Gang.

Everytime We Touch is the debut studio album by German Eurodance trio Cascada. It was released on 5 March 2006. Recording sessions for the album took place from Autumn 2004 through January 2006, most of which was recorded after the third single from the album "Everytime We Touch" rose to popularity; the final recording session was completed in three weeks. The entire album was produced by Yanou and DJ Manian, containing heavily of up-tempo Eurodance tracks, many of which are covers of hit songs from the 1980s and 1990s of the synthpop, Eurodance, and rock genres. Musically, the album is composed of dance tracks with thick Euro synths, trance beats that clock in at over 140 beats per minute and Europop lyrics. Lyrically, the album is composed of songs about love and dance floor euphoria.

Flip & Fill are an English electronic dance music duo, based in Manchester, England, consisting of the producers/remixers, DJs Graham Turner and Mark Hall. They are signed to the Filtrate record label.

Siria is a German trance group composed of singer Natalie Horler, better known as Cascada, and DJ Manian, known both for his solo work as well as his work within Cascada. The Siria project has had two singles released into the German and Canadian markets featuring the vocals of Natalie Horler. Yann Peifer, known professionally as Yanou, is a German trance and Eurodance musician and producer. He is most famous for collaborating on DJ Sammy's hit "Heaven" with vocalist Do and for being a member of the popular German trance acts Tune Up! with DJ Manian, and Cascada alongside Natalie Horler as well as Manian. Before Yanou worked with Tune Up!, Cascada and DJ Sammy, he produced and wrote tracks for "Beam & Yanou" in the late 1990s.

R.I.O. is a German dance music band. The members are Yann Peifer and DJ Manian, who originally founded the band in 2007. Until 2012, Tony T. was part of the band. Their biggest hit was the song "Turn This Club Around", which charted in the top 5 in Germany and Austria and at number one in Switzerland.
