Band history

Distorted Reality is the synthpop band formed in 1997 by a collaboration between Martha M. Arce from Miami, United States and Christian Kobusch from Bielefeld, Germany.

Distorted Reality's debut album, The Fine Line Between Love and Hate, was released on 17 May 2002, on Accession Records. The band produced the album along with Bruno Kramm from Das Ich. It also contains re-mixes by Propaganda, Sabotage QCQC and Noyce.

Distorted Reality has also signed with American label Nilaihah Records. The Fine Line Between Love and Hate was released in the US and Canada 13 May 2003. This version contains additional remixes by Assemblage 23, Forma Tadre, Cut.Rate.Box and Null Device.

In 2003 and 2005 Distorted Reality performed live gigs at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany. In October 2005 Distorted Reality played at the Electronic Pleasures 3 Festival in Berlin, Germany. Further live gigs are planned.

From 2004 to 2006 Martha and Christian worked on their current album ‘Daydreams and Nightmares’, together with the producer Andreas Meyer (Forma Tadre). Remixes from Haujobb, Dust of Basement and In Strict Confidence are included.

Bloodshy & Avant Duo of songwriters and producers

Bloodshy & Avant are a Swedish songwriting and production duo consisting of Christian "Bloodshy" Karlsson and Pontus "Avant" Winnberg. They have worked with many prominent artists, including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Ms. Dynamite, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Kelis, Girls' Generation, Christina Milian, Sky Ferreira, Hikaru Utada and BoA. In addition to their production work, Karlsson and Winnberg are also members of the synth-pop group Miike Snow, alongside lead vocalist Andrew Wyatt.

The Bonkers series was one of the leading happy hardcore compilation series in the UK. The first release was in 1996 on record label React, it was available on 2xCD and 2xTC formats. DJs DJ Sharkey and Hixxy were signed by React and the pair released "Bonkers", the first in a series of albums which has become the best-selling hardcore compilation series of all time. The series is on its nineteenth release as of 11 May 2009, with Bonkers: The Original Hardcore.

Dont Say You Love Me (Erasure song) 2005 single by Erasure

"Don't Say You Love Me" is a song written, produced and performed by Erasure. The track was released by Mute Records as the second single from the duo's eleventh studio album Nightbird. Although essentially a synthpop song, "Don't Say You Love Me" had elements of doo-wop and girl group influences in its rhythm and lyrical structure. The song was remixed twice by Jeremy Wheatley when released as a single, one which gave the song a smoother, more electronic music feel and one which was a harsher dance number.

Endzeit Bunkertracks is an aggrotech/electro-industrial compilation album series featuring exclusive, deleted and/or hard-to-find tracks. The first volume, or "act", consists of 60 tracks, 50 of them being exclusive. Endzeit Bunkertracks follows a style where the album is divided into four "sessions": Evil, Torture, Damage and Death. Nilaihah Records is an American independent record label based in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1999 by Kristy Venrick of The Azoic, after Oneiroid Psychosis asked her to release their next album. Though she did not have a record label at the time, Oneiroid Psychosis was impressed by Kristy's success at promoting her own band. After considering the proposal, a year later, Kristy agreed and decided to begin Nilaihah Records.

<i>The OMD Singles</i>

The OMD Singles is a singles compilation album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, released in 1998. It reached number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. Originally, the compilation was to include a second disc of new remixes; however, this idea was abandoned due to budget limitations. The few remixes that were produced were released separately as The OMD Remixes. In 2003, The OMD Singles was reissued in France with the remix disc finally included, comprising the 1998 remixes as well as additional remixes. In the same year Virgin also released a two-disc box set comprising The OMD Singles and Navigation: The OMD B-Sides.

Always: The Very Best of Erasure is the fourth compilation album released by the British synthpop band Erasure. It was released on 30 October 2015 to commemorate their 30th anniversary since the formation of the band. The album contains all of the band's highest charting songs, as well as their more popular recordings. The deluxe edition contains two additional CDs with corresponding remixes, including some of their singles that did not make the compilation. It is available through Lexer Music, Amazon and iTunes. The band's members, Andy Bell and Vince Clarke, announced that this will kick off a campaign to celebrate their thirty years in the music industry together. The compilation followed the release of the first and only single from the album, entitled "Sometimes 2015," a re-vamped version of the original single mixed by David Wrench. The single was released on 23 October 2015, and contains a mixture of previously released remixes of Sometimes as well as a new remix by Love To Infinity.
