The film has a 70% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 10 reviews. [3] Matthew Monagle of The Austin Chronicle awarded the film two and a half stars out of five. [4]

Brandon Zachary of Comic Book Resources gave the film a negative review and wrote, "Despite boasting some unique flavor that should have been further highlighted, Don't Look At The Demon is an underwhelming and basic horror film." [5]
