Hammond School, originally James H. Hammond Academy, is a pre-K through 12 college preparatory day school in Columbia, South Carolina, founded in 1966. The school is an accredited school with the South Carolina Independent School Association (SAIS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The choir is known for its performance for Pope Francis at the 2017 New Years Day Mass at St. Peter's Basilica. The Lake Athletic Conference (LAC) was a high school athletic conference serving members of the Indiana High School Athletic Association. The LAC existed in multiple guises from the fall of 1969 through the spring of 2007, at which time it comprised sixteen member high schools. The conference took its name from all its early members being located in Lake County, Indiana, in addition to the predecessing Lake 10 Conference, of which many schools were members before expansion increased the number of schools in the conference.

School City of Hammond is a school district serving the city of Hammond, Indiana, United States.

The Great Lakes Athletic Conference is a four-member IHSAA-sanctioned conference located entirely within Lake County. The conference is among the youngest in the state, created in 2007 following the disbandment of the Lake Athletic Conference and after failing to find acceptance in another conference for each of the four schools. The GLAC's "sister" conferences also created from the Lake Athletic Conference are the Greater South Shore Athletic Conference and the Northwest Crossroads Conference. At the start of the 2021-2022 school year, the conference lost two members as Hammond Clark and Hammond Gavit were closed due to the consolidation of Hammond Schools.

Francis C. Hammond Middle School

Francis C. Hammond Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia, is located at 4646 Seminary Road in the west end of the city. Opened as a four-year high school in 1956, it was named after Alexandria native Francis Hammond (1931–1953), a U.S. Navy hospital corpsman who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in the Korean War.
