Mike Knapp, also known as Snap or Snapper, is a musician from Hamilton, New Zealand. Knapp started playing guitar, drums, and singing at an early age, around 1970, with his family in a group called The Doves, featuring multiple harmony vocals. In 1974, Knapp created a rock band called Butterburr with his sister Mary Knapp on lead vocals and friend Mark on guitar and vocals. He went on to form the hard rock group Hellzapoppin and a softer rock group called Airwaves in 1976, still with Mark, Mary, and newcomers Roo and Phil Hall. They were joined by keyboard player Jenny Hunt. Knapp went on to play with several other bands, including Spats and The Tigers.

This common theme resulted in almost a 'trademark' appearance, being called "The Green 'un", distinguishing it from its rival publication The Motor Cycle which had variation on blue background colouring with contrasting text and images.

The USNT only competes in events once every two years; at the IQA World Cup, as it is geographically ineligible for the only other current international Quidditch event; the IQA European Games.
The 2018 IQA World Cup was the fourth edition of the IQA World Cup, the international quidditch championship organized by the International Quidditch Association, the sport's global governing body. It was held in Florence, Italy between 27 June and 2 July 2018. Australia were the defending champions. The United States won their third championship after beating Belgium in the final. Over 800 athletes participated in competition.
