BPitch Control is a German techno record label founded in 1999 in Berlin by DJ and producer Ellen Allien. In 1992 she became resident DJ at the legendary Tresor club in Berlin's Potsdamer Platz. At around the same time, she started her own show on the Berlin radio station Kiss-FM and created her own record label, calling them both Braincandy, before setting Bpitch Control up in 1999.

Dubfire's release follows that of his Deep Dish collaborator, Sharam's solo mix, Global Underground 029: Dubai. Previously, Deep Dish have mixed Global Underground 021: Moscow and Global Underground 025: Toronto, along with Afterclub Mixes. With Taipei, Dubfire sought to make the album about more who he is, as opposed to Deep Dish.

"Pop the Glock" is a single by French-American recording artist Uffie. The re-released single was released as a 12" vinyl on November 30, 2009. "Pop the Glock" was Uffie's first single and an international underground hit. It was originally released in early 2006 by Ed Banger Records on the Pop the Glock/Ready to Uff EP. The original release gained Uffie attention from the media, fans and critics alike and landed her a record deal with French electronic label Ed Banger Records. "Pop the Glock" was written by Uffie and produced by Feadz, and is in large-part based both lyrically and musically on Audio Two's "Top Billin".

BatBox is the second studio album of new material from French electronic musician Miss Kittin, co-written and produced with Pascal Gabriel. The music combines elements of techno and electro and, as Kittin describes it, a flirtation with Goth culture. Dear Companion is Espers vocalist Meg Baird's first solo album. It was released in 2007 to critical praise. The album contains three traditional folk songs, four covers of more recent songs, and two original songs written by Baird. The album is lightly orchestrated traditional folk music, without Espers' psychedelic and prog influences, dense orchestration, and dark atmosphere. Dear Companion was recorded at the same time as the Espers album II, at Baird's home in Philadelphia. Two of the traditional songs also appeared on Leaves From Off the Tree, an album by Baird, Espers bandmate Helena Espvall, and Sharron Kraus that came out the year before. Two versions of the title song open and close the album, the second one a cappella.
