The Clickburg Webcomic Awards, generally referred to as the Clickies, were a Dutch webcomics awards ceremony held four times between 2005 and 2010. Created to promote webcomics in the Netherlands and Belgium, the Clickies were first awarded in 2005 at the world's first webcomic convention, Clickburg. We Are Here is a collective of migrants based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which campaigns for human rights for its members and all undocumented migrants. The asylum seekers have in many cases had their applications to remain in the Netherlands denied but they either cannot go back or refuse to return to their country of origin. They demand access to social services such as medical care and housing. The group formed in 2012 and by 2015 contained over 200 migrants from around 15 countries.

The Rotterdam Design Award was an annual and later biennial design award in the Netherlands from 1993 to 2013. In the first five editions the work of the nominees were exhibited in the Kunsthal, and afterwards in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. The winners were selected by an international jury during this exhibition, and were announced at the end of the exhibition. The winners received an amount of € 20,000, which could be spent freely.

Amsterdam Fashion Week (AFW) is a fashion event that takes place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands biannually. Both established brands and starting designers show their collections. The AFW used to be held at the Westergasfabriek location, but after takeover by fashion entrepreneur Danie Bles the fashion week switches locations ever season. In addition to the runway shows, which were open to invited guests and public with purchased tickets, the event also had a program open to the public called AIFW Downtown. The Downtown event consisted exhibitions, parties, store openings and other events in the field of fashion, spread throughout the city of Amsterdam. Since the takeover in 2018 everything has been placed under one coherent official program.

The Arlecchino is an award that is awarded annually in the form of a bronze statue by a jury of the Dutch Association of Theater and Concert Hall Directors (VSCD) as a prize for the most impressive male supporting actor role of the Dutch theater season. The prize bears the Italian name of the character Harlequin, and was first awarded in 1964. The figurine has been designed by Eric Claus since 2005.
