Edgewood High School is located in Ellettsville, Indiana. The school is the sole high school in the Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation and opened in 1965, shortly after the school district consolidated Ellettsville and Stinesville schools.
As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 819 students and 46.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 17.8:1. There were 193 students (23.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 43 (5.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. [1]

The Edgewood Mustangs compete in the Western Indiana Conference of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA). The school colors are black, red and white. Currently offered boys' sports are cross country, football, soccer, tennis, basketball, swimming, wrestling, baseball, golf, and track. Currently offered girls' sports are cross country, golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, softball, tennis , track and wrestling. [3]
The Marching Mustangs placed first in the 2018 Open Class C Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) competition with their show "From the Ashes." [4] They also placed second in the 2019 Open Class C ISSMA competition with their show "The Space Between" and 3rd with "Out of the Woods" in 2021." [5] [6] [7] In 2022 the Marching Mustangs placed first in the Open Class C ISSMA competition with their show "Break Free," [8] and in 2023 they did so again with their show "On Your Spot." [9]
EHS Choral Director Mr. Paulsen has been teaching at Edgewood High School since 2012. He has a BS in Choral Education from Ball State University and previously taught at Edgewood Junior High School from 2003-2012.
Sophisticated Ladies is Edgewood High School's varsity-level unisex choir. Over their decades of performing, these young women have traveled from coast to coast claiming numerous captions and Grand Champion trophies. They are choreographed by Marah Cover and Eric Hayes Jr.
in their 5th decade, Edgewood High School's varsity-level mixed group, Music Warehouse, has performed all across the United States. Choreographed by Marah Cover and Eric Hayes Jr., Music Warehouse is proud to carry on their traditions for decades to come.
Edgewood High School's junior varsity-level mixed choir, Vocal Odyssey, is comprised of mostly freshmen and sophomore students. These students bring the choreography of Marty DeMott to life.
Noteworthy is Edgewood High School's concert choir ensemble. They perform in a number of concerts and community events throughout the school year, as well as the high school's annual holiday production, 'Tis The Season. Noteworthy performs a library of repertoire ranging from Broadway show tunes to sacred concert pieces.
