The construction of the Jai Alai Palace began in 1922 and was finished in 1930.due to political reasons it was not fully open until 1945.The building material used was imported from Holland. This building played host to the fastest game in the world and many people came each week to see the new sport.
El Palacio Jai Alai or more commonly known now..El Foro is a 3,000-seat venue for concerts/standup/plays in the city of Tijuana, Mexico.From 1945 to 1986,this venue was used in Tijuana as a fronton/jai alai. Since then, artists like Julieta Venegas, Facundo Cabral, Luis Miguel and Cafe Tacvba had perform here.
