Electronic Transaction Aggregation & Analysis Layer (eTaal) is a public service developed by India's National Informatics Centre to measure the impact of various e-governance initiatives at national and state levels. [1] [2]
As an indispensable analytical service, it also provides an integrated visual interface providing a real-time view of e-transactions taking place under various e-Governance applications implemented by Government, in an easily understandable visual graphic. These include Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) on the basis of transaction count shared by them in an automated manner using Web Services technology. [3] Many tax payments are also analyzed with ETAAL at the NIC. The NIC also offers ETAAL services over the counter during normal office hours, in India.
The dashboard also facilitates quick analysis of transaction data in tabular and graphical forms enabling users to drill down to lowest level without compromising on privacy, security or integrity of the application software. Users can view consolidated e-Transaction statistics of e-Governance projects across the country and visualize their real-time utilization status. ETAAL covers all Central Ministries and State/UT governments. [4] [5]
A web portal is a specially designed website that brings information from diverse sources, like emails, online forums and search engines, together in a uniform way. Usually, each information source gets its dedicated area on the page for displaying information ; often, the user can configure which ones to display. Variants of portals include mashups and intranet dashboards for executives and managers. The extent to which content is displayed in a "uniform way" may depend on the intended user and the intended purpose, as well as the diversity of the content. Very often design emphasis is on a certain "metaphor" for configuring and customizing the presentation of the content and the chosen implementation framework or code libraries. In addition, the role of the user in an organization may determine which content can be added to the portal or deleted from the portal configuration.
E-government is the use of technological communications devices, such as computers and the Internet, to provide public services to citizens and other persons in a country or region. E-government offers new opportunities for more direct and convenient citizen access to government and for government provision of services directly to citizens.

Essbase is a multidimensional database management system (MDBMS) that provides a platform upon which to build analytic applications. Essbase began as a product from Arbor Software, which merged with Hyperion Software in 1998. Oracle Corporation acquired Hyperion Solutions Corporation in 2007. Until late 2005 IBM also marketed an OEM version of Essbase as DB2 OLAP Server.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) is a premier Indian government department under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The NIC provides infrastructure, IT Consultancy, IT Services including but not limited to architecture, design, development and implementation of IT Systems to Central Government Departments and State Governments thus enabling delivery of government services to Citizens and pioneering the initiatives of Digital India. Electronic governance or e-governance is the application of information technology for delivering government services, exchange of information, communication transactions, integration of various stand-alone systems between government to citizen (G2C), government-to-business (G2B), government-to-government (G2G), government-to-employees (G2E) as well as back-office processes and interactions within the entire governance framework. Using e-governance, government services are made available to citizens through IT. The three main target groups that can be distinguished in governance concepts are government, citizens, and businesses/interest groups.

In other usage, "dashboard" is another name for "progress report" or "report" and is considered a form of data visualization.

HALRIS (Haryana Land Record Information System) is a Visual Basic/Microsoft SQL Server based software system used by the Haryana government for the computerisation of land records in its tehsils. It was developed by National Informatics Centre - Haryana State unit. The project was inaugurated on 1 November 2003 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Ch. Om Prakash Chautala in Sirsa District on the occasion of Haryana Day. HALRIS has been implemented in all Tehsils and subtehsils of Haryana.
india.gov.in is the Indian government’s web portal for citizens. It presents information resources and online services from government sources, accessible from a single point. It is also known as the National Portal of India.
Database activity monitoring is a database security technology for monitoring and analyzing database activity. DAM may combine data from network-based monitoring and native audit information to provide a comprehensive picture of database activity. The data gathered by DAM is used to analyze and report on database activity, support breach investigations, and alert on anomalies. DAM is typically performed continuously and in real-time.
The Road and Transport Mission Mode Project (MMP) is one of the 27 Mission Mode Projects of the National e-Governance Plan in India, a program to centralize governance operations online.
The term is used for two different things:
Mobile payments is a mode of payment using mobile phones. Instead of using methods like cash, cheque, and credit card, a customer can use a mobile phone to transfer money or to pay for goods and services. A customer can transfer money or pay for goods and services by sending an SMS, using a Java application over GPRS, a WAP service, over IVR or other mobile communication technologies. In India, this service is bank-led. Customers wishing to avail themselves of this service will have to register with banks which provide this service. Currently, this service is being offered by several major banks and is expected to grow further. Mobile Payment Forum of India (MPFI) is the umbrella organisation which is responsible for deploying mobile payments in India.
Police IT is the flagship project of the Karnataka State Police aimed at digitizing all the processes involved in policing from basic functions like crime, law and order, maintenance, and traffic to ancillary functions like police motor transport and training; and connecting all the locations of the state police viz. police stations, circle office, sub-divisional police offices, district police offices, campus networks at COP, CID, chief office and other offices of special units. It has been brought under CCTNS now.

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 is a disability law passed by the Parliament of India to fulfill its obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by India in 2007.[1] The Act replaces the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
Bhudhaar is a e-governance project that is intended to assign an 11 digit unique number to every land parcel in the state of Andhra Pradesh as part of the "land hub in E-Pragati programme". Bhudhaar is the first in India to address issues in land record management. Union Government of India also implementing Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) Project with the reference from this Bhudhaar Project. Bhuseva Authority, an inter-departmental committee was formulated to implement and monitor the progress. Eventually all land related transactions will use Bhudhaar as single source of truth to reduces land related disputes. On 18 February 2019, the Andhra pradesh Assembly gave its consent to the legal usage of the Bhudhaar Number in land documents. This project is being regularly monitored by AP CM Dashboard which was developed and managed by Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) in real time basis.
The Digital Rupee (e₹) or eINR or E-Rupee is a tokenised digital version of the Indian Rupee, issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as a central bank digital currency (CBDC). The Digital Rupee was proposed in January 2017 and launched on 1 December 2022. Digital Rupee is using blockchain distributed-ledger technology.
