Elena Igorevna Muratova (born December 12, 1986) is a former Russian mogul skier who participated in the 2014 Winter Olympics, won medals at the World Cup, Europe Cup and Russian National Championship.

The film suffered a lot from the Soviet censorship and was edited without the acceptance of Muratova, so she refused to release it under her name - it was attributed to "Ivan Sidorov". It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival.

The Russia women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Russia in FIG international competitions. Additionally, they have competed as the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Russian Gymnastics Federation (RGF) due to the World Anti-Doping Agency imposing sanctions on Russia in the aftermath of the doping scandal. While competing under the Russian Olympic Committee designation, they won the gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games. The Soviet Union women's national artistic gymnastics team represented the Soviet Union in FIG international competitions. They were the dominant force in the sport from the 1950s until the Soviet Union's collapse. They lead the medal tally for women's artistic gymnastics with 88 medals including 33 gold. Larisa Latynina is also the most decorated female athlete at the Olympic games with a total of 18 medals. Soviet dominance was unprecedented in scale and longevity and was likely the result of the country's heavy investment in mass and elite sports to fulfill its political agenda.

Elena Pavlovna Muratova was a Moscow-born stage actress and reader in drama, associated with the Moscow Art Theatre which she joined in 1901 and stayed with for the rest of her life. She was the first performer of the parts of Akulina Ivanovna, Vasilissa, Charlotte and Lizaveta Bogdanovna. Muratova was a respected and much admired pedagogue. "Her most popular parts were those of the governesses and it so happened the Elena Pavlovna's parallel life in theatre centered around tutoring young generations of the MAT actors," according to Vasily Luzhsky.

Vera Georgievna Muratova is a Russian Paralympic powerlifter. She won the bronze medal in the women's 79 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. A few months later, she won the silver medal in her event at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
