Eppegem is a village in the municipality of Zemst, Flemish Brabant, Belgium.
Eppegem lies on the river Zenne. There is a cemetery of people who died in World War II next to the "Brusselsesteenweg".
Zemst is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the villages of Elewijt, Eppegem, Hofstade, Weerde, Zemst-Laar, Zemst-Bos and Zemst proper. On January 1, 2006, Zemst had a total population of 21,327. The total area is 42.83 km² which gives a population density of 498 inhabitants per km².
Laeken or Laken is a residential suburb in north-west Brussels in Belgium. It belongs to the municipality of the City of Brussels and is mostly identified by the Belgian postal code : 1020. Prior to 1921 it was a separate municipality.

The Belgian railway line 25 is the oldest railway line in Belgium. It connects the main two cities in Belgium: Brussels and Antwerp. The section between Brussels and Mechelen was completed in on May 5, 1835 and was the first railroad in Belgium. On May 3, 1836, the second section was opened. It was extended to Luchtbal in the north of Antwerp in 2007 in order to shorten the route from Amsterdam to Brussels. The total line runs 47.6 km.

Schaerbeek Cemetery, officially Schaerbeek New Cemetery, is a cemetery belonging to the municipality of Schaerbeek, Brussels (Belgium), where the inhabitants of Schaerbeek have the right to be buried. It is not located in Schaerbeek itself; rather it is partially in the neighbouring municipality of Evere, and partially in the village of Sint-Stevens-Woluwe in the municipality of Zaventem in Flemish Brabant. The cemetery is adjacent to Brussels Cemetery and Evere Cemetery, but should not be confused with either.
