The 2016–17 Women's FIH Hockey World League Final took place between 17 and 26 November 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand. A total of eight teams competed for the title.

2017 Womens Pan American Cup

The 2017 Women's Pan American Cup was the fifth edition of the Women's Pan American Cup, the quadrennial international women's field hockey championship of the Americas organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. It was held between 5 and 13 August 2017 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States, simultaneously with the men's tournament.

Erin Matson is an American field hockey player. Matson is one of only two players to be selected in the U.S. Women's National Team at age 16, the first was Katie Bam, selected in 2005.

The Women's field hockey tournament at the 2019 Pan American Games will be the 9th edition of the field hockey event for women at the Pan American Games. It will take place over a twelve-day period beginning on 29 July, and culminated with the medal finals on 9 August.
