The District of Diekirch was one of three districts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Immediately prior to its abolition on 3 October 2015, it contained five cantons divided into 43 communes:
- Clervaux
- Diekirch
- Redange
- Vianden
- Wiltz
Eschweiler is a small town in northern Luxembourg. It is located in the canton of Wiltz, which is part of the district of Diekirch.
Wiltz is a canton in northwestern Luxembourg. It covers an area of 264.55 km2, and as of 2023 it has a population of 19,209. It borders Belgium.
Diekirch is a canton in the north of Luxembourg. Neither the canton, town, nor commune of Diekirch should be confused with the former district of Diekirch, one of three administrative units in Luxembourg abolished in October 2015. It borders Germany.
Remich is a canton in the south-east of Luxembourg. It borders Germany & France.
Wiltz is a commune with town status in north-western Luxembourg, situated in the canton of the same name. Wiltz is situated on the banks of the river Wiltz. It was also a battleground in the Battle of the Bulge, near the end of World War II. A local airfield was used by both sides of the conflict, depending on the location of the Front.

Trintange is a small town in the commune of Bous-Waldbredimus, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2023, the town has a population of 366. It was the administrative centre of the commune of Waldbredimus until its merger with Bous.
Erpeldange is a village in the commune of Wiltz, in northern Luxembourg. As of 2024, the town has a population of 478.
Erpeldange Castle, located in the town of the same name in north-eastern Luxembourg, now houses the administrative offices for the Commune of Erpeldange, with its grounds open to the public. It has a history dating back to the 13th century.
Eschweiler is a municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Bous-Waldbredimus is a commune in south-eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Remich. It was established on 1 September 2023 with the merger of the communes of Bous and Waldbredimus.
