Catamenia was a Finnish black metal band founded in 1995 by Riku Hopeakoski and Mika Tönning in Oulu. They are known for frequent usage of wolves in their album art, but the band is named after a kind of bird. Catamenia also means "menstruation", which the band did not know until a fan pointed it out to them after the release of their debut album.

Eternal Tears of Sorrow is a Finnish symphonic/melodic death metal band formed in Pudasjärvi.

Embodyment was a Christian rock band from Arlington, Texas. The group formed in 1992 and were first known by the name Supplication where they originally played death metal, later turning to deathcore with the release of their debut album Embrace the Eternal, which in turn is credited as one of the earliest deathcore releases of all time. Following their debut full-length the band would completely abandon all their extreme metal elements thereafter, pursuing instead an alternative rock style with their album The Narrow Scope of Things and subsequently became lighter with each proceeding album.

Yndi Halda are an English post-rock band from Kent. "Yndi Halda" is Old Norse for "Enjoy Eternal Bliss", also the name of their debut release. The band's music is characterised by expansive, cinematic pieces that have seen them compared to post-rock and modern classical genres.

Of Chaos and Eternal Night is the third EP by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity. It includes a re-mixed version of the Skydancer track; "Alone", with Mikael Stanne's vocals instead of Anders Fridén's. The EP was reissued as Skydancer/Of Chaos and Eternal Night. Fredrik Nordström contributes keyboards on the EP as well as producing it.

Honi Soit is the seventh solo studio album by the Welsh rock musician John Cale, released in March 1981 by A&M Records, and was his first studio album in six years following 1975's Helen of Troy.
