Expert Imaging and Sound Association is a collaboration between different multimedia magazines, that offer tests of cameras, videocameras, audio equipment, mobile phones, etc. The organization was established in 1982. The current president of EISA is Paul Miller.
In 2018 the organisation was renamed as the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (formerly European Imaging and Sound Association) to reflect new members from outside the European area, including Australian magazines Sound+Image and Australian Hi-Fi, and US magazines Stereophile and Sound and Vision.

The Extended Industry Standard Architecture is a bus standard for IBM PC compatible computers. It was announced in September 1988 by a consortium of PC clone vendors as an alternative to IBM's proprietary Micro Channel architecture (MCA) in its PS/2 series.

The EOS 1D Mark III is a professional 10.1 megapixel digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR) camera body produced by Canon. The EOS 1D Mark III was announced on February 21, 2007 and is the successor of the Canon EOS-1D Mark II N and was first released in May 2007. In late 2009, the camera was succeeded by the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV. One of the main benefits of the new Mark III, over the previous models, was the added functionality of Live view, allowing users to take pictures while looking at an LCD screen. While it had the same outdated software as the older 1D series cameras, it had a much improved button layout, which is still used today. It also had improved wireless capabilities over the Mark II. The new WFT-E2 was much smaller than the previous WFT-E1 for the Mark II. The new transmitter could now also connect via a USB port. This allowed the optional addition of a GPS unit and wired PC connectivity.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 was a compact 'Travel Zoom' camera announced on January 31, 2007. It was the successor to the 2006 TZ1 announced in 2006, and was released in parallel with the TZ2. It has a 10× optical zoom with the focal range equivalent to 28–280 mm coupled with Mega O.I.S. image stabiliser. It is a fully automatic compact camera, without manual control of aperture and shutter time. The TZ3 was awarded both the TIPA "Best Superzoom Digital Camera" award and the EISA "European Compact Camera" award in 2007. The TZ4, TZ5, and TZ50 succeeded the TZ2 and TZ3.
The Nikon D3S is a 12.1-megapixel professional-grade full frame (35mm) digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR) announced by Nikon Corporation on 14 October 2009. The D3S is the fourth camera in Nikon's line to feature a full-frame sensor, following the D3, D700 and D3X. It is also Nikon's first full-frame camera to feature HD (720p/30) video recording. While it retains the same number of pixels as its predecessor, the imaging sensor has been completely redesigned. Nikon claims improved ultra-high image sensor sensitivity with up to ISO 102400, HD movie capability for extremely low-lit situations, image sensor cleaning, optimized workflow speed, improved autofocus and metering, enhanced built-in RAW processor, quiet shutter-release mode, up to 4,200 frames per battery charge and other changes compared with the D3. It was replaced by the D4 as Nikon's high speed flagship DSLR.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 is a 20.2 megapixel compact camera announced on 6 June 2012. It is part of the Cyber-shot RX line of digital cameras made by Sony. It was named as the "European Advanced Compact Camera for 2012–2013" by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) and one of the 'Best Inventions of 2012' by TIME. Since then, Sony has introduced new RX100 models almost one per year.
The Pentax K-3 is a 24-megapixel Pentax high-end digital single-lens reflex camera with an APS-C sensor, announced on 7 October 2013. The Pentax K-3 is the successor to both the K-5 II and K-5 IIs models, which have a 16-megapixel sensor. The K-5 II had an optical low pass filter or anti-aliasing (AA) filter that can prevent the appearance of moire patterning on the captured image. This filter reduces the sharpness of the image, so Pentax also produced the K-5 IIs which omitted this filter. In the K-3, Pentax obviated the need for providing two separate models by including a selectable AA filter "simulator". This mechanism vibrates the sensor when switched on, slightly blurring the image in a way that replaces the function of the optical AA filter, providing the same benefit as the filter in the K-5 II and other cameras with an optical AA filter. When the AA simulator is disabled, the sensor records a sharper image, as in the K-5 IIs.
The Nikon D4S is a full frame professional DSLR camera announced by Nikon Corporation on February 25, 2014 to succeed the D4 as its flagship DSLR. The D4S offers a number of improvements over its predecessor including a new image sensor, new image processor, new battery, improved ergonomics and expanded ISO range. Additionally, improved auto focus (AF) algorithms and a new AF Tracking mode were introduced together with a new option of RAW image capture in full resolution or a "Small" file.

The DxO ONE from DxO is a small camera that attaches to a tablet or smartphone. It was originally compatible with iPhone and iPad using the Lightning connector port, and more recently with some Android phones. It was introduced in June 2015. The DxO ONE has a 1-inch format, 20.2 megapixel image sensor—the same one that is found in the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100—and an f/1.8 maximum-aperture lens and high-speed shutter. The ONE uses the attached mobile device as an electronic viewfinder for the camera, which does not have its own viewfinder.
