Every year, the French association TV France International organizes the Export Award that rewards the best-selling French television programs worldwide, in the three categories: animation, documentary and drama. This award highlights both the economic and cultural impact of program exports and pay special tribute to the dynamic of French companies in charge of their international distribution.
TV France International is a trade association which promotes French TV programs worldwide.
The 10th Export Award was directed by Xavier Gouyou Beauchamps, President of TV France International, during a prestigious soirée celebrating the PROCIREP Producer's Prize in Paris on December, 9th 2012. The 9 nominees were chosen according to the volume and level of their international sales. The winners among them were chosen by a panel of 12 000 professionals of the television sector. The National Film Board of Canada is Canada's public film and digital media producer and distributor. An agency of the Government of Canada, the NFB produces and distributes documentary films, animation, web documentaries, and alternative dramas. In total, the NFB has produced over 3,000 productions since its inception, which have won over 5,000 awards. The NFB reports to the Parliament of Canada through the Minister of Canadian Heritage. It has English-language and French-language production branches.
Jetix is a defunct worldwide children's television programming block owned by Jetix Europe, Jetix Latin America and ABC Cable Networks Group. The Jetix brand was used for children's blocks and channels featuring action-related and adventure-related live-action and animated programming, most of which had previously aired on Fox Kids, as well as some original programming. In the United States, the block aired on Toon Disney and on ABC Family. The Jetix brand switched over to Disney XD in 2009 in accordance with the company's focus on its Disney, ABC, and ESPN brands. The last remaining Jetix in the world in Russia, switched over to Disney Channel on August 10, 2010.

The Asian Television Awards is an appreciation to recognize and reward programming and production excellence in the Asian television industry. Held every December, the Awards draws about 1,400 entries each year from a wide range of broadcasters, including free-to-air TV stations and pay-TV platforms as well as many independent production houses in Asia. Every year, at least nine jury sessions are held in several Asian cities including Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, where the panel of judges of over 15 countries evaluate and select the entries in closed sessions. The results are then tabulated and audited by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and the winners will be announced during the Awards' night in Singapore.

The sixth season of the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, created by former marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, aired on Nickelodeon from March 3, 2008 to July 5, 2010, and contained 26 episodes, beginning with the episode "Krabby Road". The series chronicles the exploits and adventures of the title character and his various friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. The season was executive produced by series creator Hillenburg and supervising producer Paul Tibbitt, who also acted as the showrunner. In 2009, the show celebrated its tenth anniversary on television. The documentary film titled Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on July 17, 2009, and marked the anniversary. SpongeBob's Truth or Square, a television film, and the special episode "To SquarePants or Not to SquarePants" were broadcast on Nickelodeon, as part of the celebration.
The 3rd Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts International Awards, were presented by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA), a non-profit organisation whose aim is to identify, award, promote and celebrate Australia's greatest achievements in film and television. Awards were handed out for the best films of 2013 regardless of geography, and are the international counterpart to the awards for Australian films. The ceremony took place at Sunset Marquis in Los Angeles, California on 10 January 2014 and will be televised in Australia on 12 January on the Arena network.
