The High Resolution Fly's Eye or HiRes detector was an ultra-high-energy cosmic ray observatory that operated in the western Utah desert from May 1997 until April 2006. Galle is a crater on Mars. It is located on the eastern rim of the huge impact basin Argyre Planitia in Argyre quadrangle. It is named after the German astronomer Johann Gottfried Galle. Galle is often known as the "happy face crater" because pareidolia causes a curved mountain range in the southern part of the crater and two smaller mountain clusters further north to appear to be a smiley face. The formation was first photographed by Viking Orbiter 1.

Common examples include dilapidated buildings, graffiti, litter, polluted areas, and excessive commercial signage such as billboards. Some eyesores may be a matter of opinion such as controversial modern architecture, transmission towers or wind turbines. Natural eyesores include feces, mud and weeds.

The Lamar Building is a 17-story skyscraper in Augusta, Georgia. It was scheduled to be completed in 1916, but the Augusta Fire of 1916 forced crews to demolish the building and restart. It was finally completed in 1918. A penthouse level was added in 1976, designed by I. M. Pei. In July 2011, the architectural critic James Howard Kunstler labeled it his "Eyesore of the Month", saying the addition is reminiscent of a Darth Vader helmet.
Awning is an outdoor 1976 painted aluminum sculpture by Canadian artist Douglas Senft, located near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Market Street in downtown Portland, Oregon. The 60-foot (18 m) sculpture was selected and funded by the Portland Development Commission from more than 200 proposals in a request for art intended to "humanize the modern architecture" of the Portland Center. Senft was 26 years old when Awning was installed. It is part of the collection of the Regional Arts & Culture Council. The yellow-colored work is mounted to the side of 200 Market along a pedestrian trail that serves as an extension of Third Avenue.

One on One was a concert tour by English musician Paul McCartney that began on 13 April 2016 and traveled through the United States, Canada, Argentina, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, ending on 16 December 2017. The tour marked McCartney's first-ever performances in Fresno, South Dakota, and Arkansas. Prior to the announcement of the tour, McCartney revealed two European festival dates for June 2016 at the Pinkpop Festival and Rock Werchter respectively. He described the title of the tour as "when I do the show, I feel like I'm kind of talking to someone like me in the audience, even though you're at the back of the hall, we try and bring the intimacy to you. It's me, one-on-one, with every member of the audience".

Freshen Up was a concert tour by English musician Paul McCartney that commenced on 17 September 2018 with a four-concert leg in Canada. The tour was McCartney's first tour after the release of his album, Egypt Station. Prior to the announcement of the tour, McCartney revealed he would headline the 17th Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park, in October 2018. In November 2019, the tour was extended into the following year, to include McCartney's first concerts in Italy since his Out There tour. A headlining appearance at the 2020 Glastonbury Festival was to be the final concert of the tour; however, it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which later led to the cancelation of all the concerts scheduled for 2020.
The Sony α6400 is a digital camera announced January 15, 2019. It is an APS-C mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (MILC) designed to be a mid-range mirrorless camera and act as an update of the α6300. Sony is targeting the vlogging community with the α6400's flip-up screen and aggressive pricing. It features the same 24 megapixel sensor seen in the α6500. At the time of release, the two most capable cameras in the α6000 series of cameras were the α6400 and the α6500. The α6500 featured IBIS, and a larger image buffer, but in most other respects the α6400 is a more advanced camera. This is largely due to its processing power, enabling features like animal eye AF, and autofocus tracking. These features, for example, can not be added to the α6300 via a firmware update, as it is too demanding a feature.
