FIBA South America Under-15 Championship

The FIBA South American Under-15 Championship is a basketball tournament for junior men, that is held about every two years. It is contested between the ten countries of South America, and it is organized in part by FIBA Americas. Through 2012, the tournament had been held 25 times. In the past, the tournament has also been called the FIBA South America Championship for Cadets, and the FIBA South America Under-16 Championship.

FIBA Basketball World Cup International basketball tournament

2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 17th edition of the FIBA Basketball World Cup, the tournament previously known as the FIBA World Championship. Hosted by Spain, it was the last tournament to be held on the then-current four-year cycle. The next FIBA World Cup was held five years later, in 2019, to reset the four-year-cycle on a different year than the FIFA World Cup.

The tournament serves as a gateway to the FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship. Through 2013, the tournament had been held 22 times.

The FIBA Americas Under-16 Championship is an under-16 basketball championship in the International Basketball Federation's FIBA Americas zone. The event started in 2009 and is held bi-annually. The winners compete in the FIBA Under-17 World Championship.

2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship

The 2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship was an international under-18 basketball tournament that was held from 10–16 June 2018 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The eleventh edition of the biennial competition, this is also the qualifying tournament for FIBA Americas in the 2019 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Greece.
