Fabric 13 is a DJ mix compilation album by Michael Mayer, as part of the Fabric Mix Series.
This particular Fabric release created excitement in the electronic music community, since Michael Mayer (as part owner of Kompakt records) had previously released most of his dance compilations on his own label. Fabric 13 contains many tracks released on the Kompakt label - giving it a distinctive German "kompakt" sound.

Kompakt is a Cologne-based electronic music independent record label and vinyl/CD distributor, owned by Wolfgang Voigt, Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape. They specialize in microhouse and minimal techno, and are known for their Total compilation series which reached its seventeenth installment in 2017.
Michael Mayer is an electronic musician from Cologne, Germany. Mayer is a remixer, DJ, and producer, and has released several singles on the Kompakt music label, working with founder Wolfgang Voigt. Mayer has also released music on Kompakt-related labels New Trance Atlantic and Kreisel 99.
Kompakt: Total 3 or Total 3 was released on 31 July 2001. The album is the third installment of the influential Cologne-based microhouse label's annual compilation of vinyl releases and exclusives from its biggest artists and most promising newcomers. Vinyl and CD editions are quite different since only six songs are included on both formats. All tracks on the vinyl format were previously unreleased when the compilation came out. "Departures" was since included on Closer Musik's album After Love, "So Weit Wie Noch Nie" was since released on 12 inch, both on Kompakt in 2002. It was this album that introduced the worldwide electronic music scene to the Cologne minimal sound which was to be dominated by Kompakt releases.
Kompakt: Total 4 or Total 4 is the fourth installment, released on 23 July 2002, of the influential Cologne-based microhouse label Kompakt's annual compilation of vinyl releases and exclusives from its biggest artists and most promising newcomers. All tracks on the vinyl edition are previously unreleased. The CD edition includes most of the tracks from the vinyl edition, and additionally some songs which were at the time of release already available on 12-inch format.
Kompakt 100 is a double-disc/4x12" compilation album released on 25 June 2004, to celebrate Kompakt's 100th release. On it the various familiar artists affiliated with the Cologne-based microhouse label were asked to remix their favourite Kompakt tracks from the past 100 releases.

Gas is the main musical project of German electronic musician and composer Wolfgang Voigt. The project was created as an expressive medium inspired by his experiences with taking LSD in the Königsforst, a German forest situated near his hometown of Cologne, for long periods in his youth. He has claimed that the intention of the project is to "bring the forest to the disco, or vice-versa".

Metal Queen – B-Sides & Rarities is a double CD compilation album released in 2007 under the label No Remorse Records, containing songs of the German hard rock singer Doro Pesch. It is unclear if this is a fully licensed compilation, an unofficial release or even a pirated publication. The album is not present in the discography section of Doro's official site and Discogs lists the album as an "unofficial release pretending to be released under No Remorse Records label". On the contrary, Encyclopaedia Metallum lists it as an official compilation.
