Australian Survivor is an Australian adventure reality game show based on the international Survivor format. Following the premise of other versions of the Survivor format, the show features a group of contestants, referred to as "castaways" as they are marooned in an isolated location. The castaways must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in various challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted off the island by their fellow castaways. The final castaway remaining is awarded the title of "Sole Survivor" and the grand prize of A$500,000.

Along with business partner Jill Stein, he runs the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK. The business has a number of renowned restaurants, shops and hotels in Padstow along with other restaurants in Marlborough, Winchester and Barnes. He is also the head chef and a co-owner of the "Rick Stein at Bannisters" restaurants in Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia, with his second wife, Sarah. He writes cookery books and has presented numerous cookery series for the BBC.
Race Around the World was an Australian travel documentary and competition series produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1997 and 1998. The series was brought to the ABC by filmmaker Michael Rubbo, and was based on the Canadian television series La Course destination monde (1988–1999).
Better Homes and Gardens is an Australian television program which is broadcast on the Seven Network, which is based on the magazine of the same name domestically published by Are Media. The programs covers a wide variety of lifestyle related topics. Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations is an American travel and food show that originally aired on the Travel Channel in the United States and on Discovery Travel & Living internationally. In it, host Anthony Bourdain visits various countries and cities, as well as places within the U.S., where he explores local culture and cuisine. The format and content of the show is similar to Bourdain's 2001–2002 Food Network series, A Cook's Tour. The show premiered in 2005 and concluded its nine-season run with the series finale episode (Brooklyn) on November 5, 2012.
Cameron Peter Daddo is an Australian actor, musician and presenter. From 1987 to 1988, he hosted dating game show Perfect Match Australia. He won two Logie Awards for his performances in Golden Fiddles and Tracks of Glory. After moving to Los Angeles, Daddo played Brian Peterson in soap opera Models Inc.. He also starred in F/X: The Series, Hope Island and She Spies. He hosted the 2007 reality show Pirate Master on CBS. In 2020, Daddo joined the cast of Home and Away as Evan Slater. Food Safari is an Australian television food series presented by Maeve O'Meara and produced by Kismet Productions in association with SBS TV Australia, and explores the cuisines brought to Australia by its immigrants. From seasons 1 to 4, each episode covered a cuisine from a particular culture, including commonly used ingredients and where to obtain them in Australia, the preparation and consumption of 'popular favourites', basic dishes and desserts/sweets. Seasons five to seven, whilst still covering Australian cuisine, focused on the basic elements involved in food preparation, with Food Safari Fire consisting of barbecuing, grilling and smoking of meat and vegetables, Food Safari Earth consisting of vegetarian dishes and focusing on European fermentation and preservation of vegetables, and Food Safari Water which focused on seafood.
Poh Ling Yeow is a Malaysian-born Australian cook, artist, actress, author and television presenter. She has hosted multiple cooking shows including ABC's Poh's Kitchen and SBS's Poh & Co. She has also published multiple cook books. She was the runner-up on the first season of Network 10's Masterchef Australia behind winner Julie Goodwin. Since appearing on season 1, she has made multiple comebacks to the series as a guest judge/mentor and returned as a contestant on the twelfth season in 2020.
Adam Liaw is a Malaysian-born Australian cook, television presenter and author. He was the winner of the second season of MasterChef Australia, defeating student Callum Hann in the final. Kumar Mahadevan is an Indian chef, restaurateur and media personality, based in Australia. He is often referred in Sydney's dining circles as the "Guru of Indian cuisine". Following the success of Abhi's he opened his second restaurant Aki's at Sydney's prestigious dining precinct 'The Finger Wharf Woolloomooloo'. Aki's carried the accolades for Chef Kumar, being the only Indian restaurant to win the coveted 'Chef Hat' award for consecutive years since 2011 till present.
Shane Delia's Spice Journey is an Australian cooking and travel television show aired on SBS One. The original series aired from 2 May 2013 until 4 July 2013 and featured locations in Malta, Lebanon and Iran. A second series, Shane Delia's Spice Journey Turkey aired in 2014. The third series, Shane Delia's Moorish Spice Journey, was set in Morocco and Southern Spain and aired from 15 October 2015 until 17 December 2015. This series was revisited for two special episodes that aired in January 2017.
