It served the municipalities of Flatanger, Fosnes, Grong, Høylandet, Leka, Lierne, Namsos, Namsskogan, Nærøy, Overhalla, Røyrvik, and Vikna. Cases from this court could be appealed to Frostating Court of Appeal.
