Francesco Bendusi (died c. 1553) was an Italian composer of the 16th century. He was active in Venice where Antonio Gardano notably published his Opera nova de Balli di Francesco Bendusi a quatro accomodati da cantare & sonare d'ogni sorte de stromenti in 1553. He died in that city soon after.

Bendusi's works have been recorded on a number of albums of Renaissance music by performers like the French ensemble Doulce Mémoire, the American ensemble Piffaro, The Renaissance Band, Brisk Recorder Quartet Amsterdam (fro[ clarification needed ] Globe) and the Finish organist Kalevi Kiviniemi. Piffaro, The Renaissance Band, originally called "The Philadelphia Renaissance Wind Band", is a Philadelphia-based early music ensemble. The group was founded in 1980, and performs music of the late Medieval and Renaissance periods on a variety of early wind instruments, augmented by percussion and strings.

Kalevi Kiviniemi is a Finnish concert organist. He is known internationally for Finnish and French organ music and has given several recitals at Notre Dame de Paris and recorded on historic organs. He is also a notable organ improviser.
