Franco Cortinovis (born 24 March 1945) is an Italian racing cyclist. [1] He won stage 6 of the 1969 Giro d'Italia. [2]

The 1969 Giro d'Italia of cycling, 52nd edition of the Corsa Rosa, was held from 16 May to 8 June 1969. It consisted of 23 stages and was won by Felice Gimondi.

Imerio Massignan cyclist

Imerio Massignan is an Italian former professional road cyclist. A pure climber, he debuted as professional in the 1959 Giro d'Italia, classifying 5th overall. This was followed by a series of good placements in the subsequent editions, including a 2nd overall in the 1962 Giro behind Franco Balmamion.

The Giro started in Campione d'Italia, on 20 May, with a 5.7 km (3.5 mi) stage and concluded in Naples, on 11 June, with a 235 km (146.0 mi) mass-start stage. A total of 130 riders from 13 teams entered the 22-stage race, which was won by Belgian Eddy Merckx of the Faema team. The second and third places were taken by Italians Vittorio Adorni and Felice Gimondi, respectively.

Wladimiro Panizza was an Italian professional road bicycle racer. Panizza came from a Communist family and was named after Lenin.
