Freddie Samuel Anderson (born 13 October 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL Championship club Stoke City. He is the son of Viv Anderson. [2]

Career

He joined Stoke City in the summer of 2023 having previously been involved in the youth academies at Liverpool and Manchester City. [3] He signed a three-year professional contract with Stoke when he turned 17 years-old in October 2023. [4] He made his professional debut in the EFL Cup against Carlisle United on 13 August 2024. [5] [6] He scored Stoke's first goal in a 2–0 victory. [7]

Personal life

He is the son of former England international footballer Viv Anderson. [8] [9]
