Freedom's Children was a rock band from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. [1] It was founded in 1966 and lasted until 1971. Its style was progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and acid rock. In the center of the band was songwriter and bass player Ramsay MacKay.

The Hollies are an English rock and pop band formed in 1962. One of the leading British groups of the 1960s and into the mid-1970s, they are known for their distinctive three-part vocal harmony style. Singer Allan Clarke and rhythm guitarist/singer Graham Nash founded the band as a Merseybeat-type group in Manchester, although some of the band members came from towns further north, in east Lancashire. Nash left the group in 1968 to co-form Crosby, Stills & Nash, though he has reunited with the Hollies on occasion. As well as Clarke and Nash other members have included lead guitarist Tony Hicks, rhythm guitarist Terry Sylvester, bassists Eric Haydock and Bernie Calvert, and drummers Don Rathbone and Bobby Elliott.
Igor Wakhévitch is an avant-garde French composer. He released a series of studio albums in the 1970s and collaborated with Salvador Dalí in 1974.
Babe Ruth are an English rock band from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England. They were initially active in the 1970s and reformed in 2002.

"Get It On" is a song by the English rock band T. Rex, featured on their 1971 album Electric Warrior. Written by frontman Marc Bolan, "Get It On" was the second chart-topper for T. Rex on the UK Singles Chart. In the United States, it was retitled "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" to avoid confusion with a song of the same name by the group Chase.

Orange Bicycle was an English psychedelic pop band, which existed between 1967 and 1971. The band played a style influenced by The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and the hippie counter culture. Previously, they acted as support, and backing band for the duo Paul and Barry Ryan as well as completing sessions for other vocalists, recording over 100 BBC Radio One sessions and appearing on UK TV.

"Love Missile F1-11" is the debut single by the British new wave band Sigue Sigue Sputnik, released in 1986 from their debut studio album Flaunt It. It was the band's biggest hit, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart. The track was produced by Giorgio Moroder, after Prince rejected a request to oversee production, complaining the track was "too violent." The band approached Moroder due to his work on a number of Hollywood film scores, as well as his early Donna Summer records, with the latter inspiring the band's trademark repetitive, synthetic bass sound.
The Gass was a rock band formed in May 1965 by Robert Tench, Godfrey McLean, and Errol McLean. They were managed by Rik Gunnell and Active Management. The band fused melodies with soul, Latin influences, blues and progressive rock often employing complex rhythms with an eclectic mix of other influences.
The Onyx or Onyx were a psychedelic rock band formed in Wadebridge, Cornwall, England in 1965. Descended from a band called Rick & The Hayseeds, the group came to be known as The Onyx Set, named after an Onyx ring owned by original band member Mike Black-Borow. After various changes in the line-up they shortened their name to The Onyx and the classic line-up was formed. The band members were guitarist Alan Hodge, who had previously played with various local bands such as The Buccaneers and The Fabulous Jaguars, vocalist Tony Priest, bassist Dick Bland, keyboard player Steve Cotton and drummer Roger Dell.
Otis Waygood was a blues band in the 1960s in Salisbury, Rhodesia. The original members were Benny Miller, Rob Zipper, Alan Zipper, Leigh Sagar, Ivor Rubenstein, Angus McLean and Billy Toon.
Judas Jump was a British short-lived progressive rock supergroup, formed in 1969. The band released one album and three singles before disbanding in 1971. They are best known for their members who had success before and after Judas Jump.
Locomotive were a British band in the 1960s, from Birmingham. Their musical styles ranged from jazz to psychedelic rock and ska, and their original line-up featured Chris Wood, later of Traffic, and drummer Mike Kellie of Spooky Tooth. They had a minor UK hit in 1968 with "Rudi's in Love", before turning to progressive rock with their only album, We Are Everything You See, released in 1970.
4th English Album is a studio album by the French singer Françoise Hardy released in South Africa in 1971. A French edition was released with no title in 1972. Since its French reissue in 2000 on CD, the album has a new cover and bears the title of its most commercially successful song: If You Listen(See section: "Other editions").
Colonel Bagshot were an English rock band formed in the late 1960s in Liverpool, England. Originally called "Colonel Bagshot's Incredible Bucket Band", they began as a six-piece, eventually becoming a four-piece. Their final line-up included Brian Farrell, Ken Parry, Dave Dover, and Terry McCusker . The band released several singles and one studio album in 1971, which included their best-known song, "Six Day War", later remixed in 2002 by DJ Shadow and titled "Six Days" and by Mahmut Orhan in 2018 retitled "6 Days". The song was also sampled by Pusha T in “Just So You Remember,” from 2022’s “It's Almost Dry.”
Abstract Truth was a progressive rock band formed in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in 1969. The band was formed around core member Ken E Henson.
