Friendship is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band consists of Dan Wriggins, [1] Michael Cormier-O'Leary, [2] Peter Gill, [3] and Jon Samuels.
Friendship began in 2015 with the release of their first full-length album, You're Going to Have to Trust Me, on Burst & Bloom. [4] On August 8, 2017, the band premiered a song titled "If You See My Beloved" from their upcoming second full-length album. [5] They premiered another song on Stereogum in October titled "Skip To The Good Part". [6] Their second full-length album, and first on Orindal Records, titled Shock Out Of Season, was released later in 2017. [7] On September 11, 2019, Friendship once again premiered a new song through Stereogum titled "Clairvoyant". [8] One month later, Friendship premiered another song on Stereogum titled "You Might Already Know". [9] The album, Dreamin', was released on November 8, 2019. [10] On July 29th, 2022 the band released their fourth full-length album, Love the Stranger, on Merge Records. [11]

Dear Nora is an indie pop band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1999 by songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Katy Davidson, drummer and vocalist Marianna Ritchey, and bassist Ryan Wise. Ritchey and Wise were previously members of Wolf Colonel. They named their new band after Lewis & Clark College music professor Nora Beck. Dear Nora's first album, We'll Have a Time, was produced by Amy Linton of The Aislers Set and released on the Portland label Magic Marker Records in 2001.
Yuck was a rock band that originated in London, England, in 2009. The band's final lineup was drummer Jonny Rogoff, guitarist Ed Hayes, bassist Mariko Doi, and lead vocalist/guitarist Max Bloom, who formerly played in the band Cajun Dance Party along with former Yuck member Daniel Blumberg. The band's self-titled debut album was released through Fat Possum on 21 February 2011 in the United Kingdom. Critics have likened the band to bands such as Dinosaur Jr., The Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth.
Sheer Mag is an American rock band from Philadelphia formed in 2014. A combination of 1970s rock and punk ethos, the band continued to gather attention, releasing three 7-inch EPs before March 2016. In January 2015, Rolling Stone featured the band as one of "10 New Artists You Need To Know", describing them as "a gang of punks with a not-so-secret love of Seventies classic rock." Four of five band members attended the State University of New York at Purchase. In 2016, the band was part of the Coachella 2016 line-up and performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers. On May 10, 2017, Sheer Mag released "Need To Feel Your Love", the first track off their first full-length record, Need to Feel Your Love. On June 19, 2019, they announced their second LP, A Distant Call.

Black Dresses was a Canadian noise pop duo consisting of Ada Rook and Devi McCallion, formed in 2017. Their debut album, Wasteisolation, was released independently in 2018. The duo released three additional albums, Thank You (2019), Love and Affection for Stupid Little Bitches (2019), and Peaceful as Hell (2020), before breaking up in 2020 in response to harassment received by McCallion. Despite maintaining their declaration of disbandment in 2020, Black Dresses released three additional albums, Forever in Your Heart (2021), Forget Your Own Face (2022), and Laughingfish (2024). Upon releasing Laughingfish, the band announced that it would be their final album.
