He was a delegate in the Albanian Congress of Trieste of 1913.

He was awarded with the People's Artist of Albania and the Honour Citizen of Tirana medal. He created the first series of the Albanian lek. In 1994 he received the People's Artist of Albania through Sali Berisha. In 2016 Sadik Kaceli was given the Honor of Nation Order. He is one of the founders of National Art Gallery of Albania, designed the first version of the Albanian lek, made the People's Republic of Albania Coat of Arms.

2011 Albanian local elections

The Albanian local elections of 2011 took place on 8 May 2011 in Albania. Electors were asked to elect their municipality's mayor, municipal council members, municipal unit mayor, and municipal unit members. The elections were administrated by the Central Election Commission of Albania. Only 9 of the 384 winning candidates were women.

The 1911 Fier Fair Football Tournament is widely considered to be the first football competition to take place in Albania, which was then administration by the Ottoman Empire. The tournament ran between 7–14 April 1911 and consisted of 8 teams, which were Tirana, Elbasani, Kavaja, Berati, Peqini, Vlora, Fieri and Lushnja. Tirana won the tournament after defeating Peqini 6–1 in the final.

Erion Veliaj Albanian politician
