Gaddaar (English: The Traitor) is a 1973 Hindi language film. It stars Vinod Khanna in lead role and the supporting casts include Yogeeta Bali, Pran, Ranjeet, Madan Puri, Iftekhar, Manmohan, Ram Mohan, Anwar Hussain and Satyen Kappu. The music was provided by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. It was a successful film on its release. The film was produced and directed by Harmesh Malhotra.
The music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The opening credit sequence features a theme which is a direct copy of main theme of Sergio Leone's classic For a Few Dollars More , composed by Ennio Morricone.

Amar Akbar Anthony is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language masala film directed and produced by Manmohan Desai and written by Kader Khan. Released in India on 27 May 1977, the film stars an ensemble cast of Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Neetu Singh, Parveen Babi, Shabana Azmi, Nirupa Roy, Pran and Jeevan. The plot focuses on three brothers separated in childhood who are adopted by families of different faiths; Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. They grow up to be a police officer, a qawwali singer and the owner of a country bar, respectively.
Majboor is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language suspense thriller film directed by Ravi Tandon and written by Salim-Javed. Released in India on 6 December 1974, the film stars an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Parveen Babi, Pran, Satyen Kappu, Iftekhar, Jagdish Raj, Farida Jalal and Sulochana Latkar. In the film, Ravi (Bachchan), a terminally ill man, frames himself for a murder that he did not commit, so that his family can receive the reward money. However, he is ultimately treated from his terminal illness and escapes from the police custody in order to prove his innocence.

Initially, Shakti Samanta was thinking whether to make this film or not as he was not sure if the distributors would buy a film with such a story line and had shared the idea with Rajesh Khanna, who encouraged Samanta and volunteered to make an extended appearance for the film, and also distributed the film under the banner "Shakti-Raj".
