Georgina Papavasiliou (born 13 January 1981 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former figure skater who competed internationally for Great Britain and Greece. For Britain, she qualified to the free skate at the 1998 World Junior Championships and finished 21st. She began representing Greece in 2000 and became a four-time national champion. Her highest placement at a senior ISU Championship was 29th, at the 2002 World Championships. She later became a skating coach at Dundee Ice Arena in Scotland.

The same painter offered to the skater's friend Russ Christensen, who had accompanied the skater to portrait sessions, to do his portrait. The offer was accepted.

They are two-time European bronze medalists and the 2004–2010 British national champions. They placed 10th at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, and 8th at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Nikodimos "Nikki" Papavasiliou is a Cypriot football manager and former international midfielder. He is currently the manager of National Bank of Egypt in the Egyptian Premier League. Aside from playing and managing, Papavasiliou's background includes scouting and Academy management. He was the first Cypriot to play in the FA Premier League.

Katerina Lily Poulios is a British-born figure skater who competes for Greece. As of July 2013, she was two-time champion of the Greek National Figure Skating Championships and placed second at Novice and Junior level in 2016 and 2017, respectively. She then gained a place on the National Hellenic Team, enabling her to compete in ISU Events. She represented Greece at the 2014 ISU World Development Trophy in Gdańsk, Poland. She is coached by Melissa Galvin and 2015 British Pairs Champion, Hamish Gaman.
Great Britain competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, from 4 to 20 February 2022. The Great Britain team consists of 50 athletes. Eve Muirhead and Dave Ryding were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony. Meanwhile curler Bruce Mouat was the flagbearer during the closing ceremony.
