Gert Eg (born 26 February 1954) is a Danish former footballer. He played his entire career for Vejle Boldklub and holds the club record for most played matches. He was an allrounder that could cover almost any position on the field. However, he was primarily known as an elegant and clever central defender with a great understanding of the game.
Eg made 509 appearances for Vejle Boldklub's first team and was part of many great triumphs in the 1970s and 1980s. In a long period of time he was the team's captain.
In 1975 Eg was the matchwinner as Vejle Boldklub won the Danish Cup. Thus, VB qualified for the UEFA Cup Winners Cup, where the team made it to the quarter-finals.
In 1983 Eg decided to end his footballing career, but already in 1984 he was back and became very successful once again. The same season Vejle Boldklub won its fifth Danish Championship with Eg and Allan Simonsen as some of the biggest profiles in the team.

Allan Rodenkam Simonsen is a Danish former footballer and manager. He most prominently played as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning the 1975 and 1979 UEFA Cups, as well as for Barcelona in Spain, winning the 1982 Cup Winners' Cup. Simonsen is the only footballer to have scored in the European Cup, UEFA Cup, and Cup Winners' Cup finals. Simonsen was named 1977 European Footballer of the Year.
Vejle Boldklub is a Danish amateur football club based in Vejle in Jutland. Formed in 1890, the club is one of the most successful clubs in Danish football history, having won the Danish championship three times and the Danish cup title four times.
Martin Pedersen is a Danish former professional football player. He has played 28 games for the Danish under-21 national team, and was selected for the 2006 European Under-21 Championship.
John Sivebæk is a Danish former football defender. He won the 1984 Danish championship with Vejle Boldklub and played for English club Manchester United. He represented IK Sirius, Djurgårdens IF, IFK Norrköping, AaB, Hammarby IF, and Vejle during a career that spanned between 1992 and 2008. A full international between 2000 and 2001, he won 11 caps for the Sweden national team.

Bora Živković is a Danish former professional football player and current coach of Serbian ancestry. He has played 310 games in the Danish Superliga, representing Silkeborg IF for the majority of the games. He has won the 1994 Danish championships and 2001 Danish Cup with Silkeborg, as well as two Danish championships and the 2004 Danish Cup with F.C. Copenhagen.
Keld Bordinggard is a Danish former association football player. He was the head coach of the Danish national under-21 team from July 2006 until the U21 European Championship in June 2011. Tommy Brian Troelsen was a Danish football player and manager, and television presenter. He played his entire club career with Vejle Boldklub, winning one Danish championship and two Danish Cup trophies. Troelsen played 16 matches and scored five goals for the Danish national team, and won a silver medal for Denmark at the 1960 Summer Olympics. After ending his footballing career, he became a popular television host on Danmarks Radio and dk4.
