Ghetto Youths Crew is a record label founded by the Marley Brothers to help underprivileged youths who fight the struggle to survive. It was created by Ziggy, Stephen, Julian and Damian Marley who are all sons of legendary reggae artist Bob Marley.
Ghetto Youths Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit foundation founded and directed by Stephen, Damian, and Julian Marley. The mission of the foundation is to provide resources and opportunity to communities in need across the globe. Ghetto Youths Foundation is active in many communities from Jamaica to Ethiopia, from India to Miami, and is dedicated to uplifting people from all walks of life.

David Nesta "Ziggy" Marley is a Jamaican musician and philanthropist. He is the son of reggae icon Bob Marley and Rita Marley. He led the family band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, with whom he released eight studio albums. He has also released seven solo albums.
Rodney Basil Price, known as Bounty Killer, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall deejay. AllMusic describes him as "one of the most aggressive dancehall stars of the '90s, a street-tough rude boy with an unrepentant flair for gun talk". He is considered one of the best dancehall lyricists of all-time.
Stephen Robert Nesta Marley is a Jamaican-American musician who is the son of Bob Marley and his wife Rita Marley. Marley is an eight-time Grammy Award winner, three times as a solo artist, twice as a producer of younger brother Damian Marley's Halfway Tree and Welcome to Jamrock albums, and a further three times as a member of his older brother Ziggy Marley's group Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers.

The Wailing Wailers is the debut album by The Wailers published on the Studio One label. Shottas is a 2002 Jamaican crime film about two young men who participate in organized crime in Kingston and Miami. Despite its low budget, the distribution of an unfinished bootleg made it a cult favourite long before its official limited release in the United States by Triumph Films and Destination Films in 2006.
Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers were a Jamaican reggae family group whose line-up consisted of the children of musicians, Bob Marley and Rita Marley, which includes lead singer Ziggy Marley with Sharon Marley, Cedella Marley, and Stephen Marley. Formed in 1979 in Brooklyn, New York, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers members began their musical endeavors in their pre-teens under the name the Melody Makers.

Sharon Marley Prendergast is a Jamaican singer, dancer, and curator. She is the biological daughter of Rita Marley and was adopted by Bob Marley when the two married. She was in the group Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers along with her young sister and brothers. With the group, she has won three Grammy awards.
Mind Control is the debut album by Jamaican American artist Stephen Marley, released on 20 March 2007. The album won a Grammy in 2008 for Best Reggae Album. An acoustic version of the album was released on 23 December 2008.
Reggae Rising was an annual reggae festival in Humboldt County, California which took place on the first full weekend of August along the banks of the Eel River. Performers at the 2008 edition of Reggae Rising, which took place August 1–3, 2008 at Dimmick Ranch and French's Camp included Sizzla, Julian Marley, Junior Reid, UB40, Tanya Stephens, and Sly and Robbie. The 2010 festival was canceled due to the financial trouble of the organizer, Tom Dimmick, resulting in his denial of a Conditional Use Permit by the Humboldt County Planning Commission. The organizer never contacted the Humboldt County Planning Commission for a 2011 permit, and as a result, 2009 Reggae Rising marked the end of the Reggae Rising festival.
Awake is the third album by Julian Marley, released in 2009 on Tuff Gong. Awake was chosen as "best album of the year" in the International Reggae and World Music Awards in New York. It was nominated for "best reggae album" in the Grammy Awards.
Distant Relatives is a collaborative studio album by American rapper Nas and Jamaican reggae vocalist Damian Marley. It was released on May 18, 2010, by Universal Republic and Def Jam Recordings. The album is Nas' tenth and Marley's fourth studio album, respectively.

The 9 Mile Music Festival, also known as the Bob Marley Festival, Bob Fest, Marley Fest and Caribbean Festival, is an annual music event which began in 1993 in Miami. 9 Mile was pioneered by Bob Marley's mother, Cedella Marley Booker, to pay tribute to the legacy of her late son, and his messages of peace, love and unity. The festival maintains a tradition of collecting canned goods upon admission, to continue efforts to give back to the community. Donations go towards feeding the less fortunate in South Florida and the Caribbean. Over 2 million cans have been donated over the years.
