GHOSTS/ALIENS is a humor book written by the pseudonymous Trey Hamburger. The book chronicles the research of two amateur scientists, Trey Hamburger and Mike Stevens, who investigate the possible teleportation of a hot pocket. The investigation soon expands to psychic babies, "Indians", the efficacy of toothpaste foam, the dangers caused by floating pillows, states of bird consciousness, portals in space/time, and so on.

Contents

The author sends letters to actual scientists requesting advice about the existence of ghosts, aliens, inter-dimensional portals as well as advice about paranormal combat. Those letters and replies are published in the book.

Author

The author of GHOSTS/ALIENS is also the author of REAL Ultimate Power: The Official Ninja Book. In the 'Hamburger mythology', Trey Hamburger is the cousin of Robert Hamburger, the protagonist of REAL Ultimate Power.

Television and film

U.S. Cable TV network Comedy Central has acquired the television rights to GHOSTS/ALIENS, and Paramount Vantage has acquired the film rights. [1] [2] The pilot titled GHOSTS/ALIENS was directed by Michael Patrick Jann, director of RENO 911. [3]

The Official Ninja Webpage: Real Ultimate Power is a satire website created in 2002 by the pseudonymous Robert Hamburger. Written using the persona of a 13-year-old boy, the site is a parody of adolescent fascination with Ninjas. Warren St. John, columnist for The New York Times described it as "a satirical ode to the masculine prowess of ninjas".

Ghost Hunters is an American paranormal and reality television series. The original series aired from October 6, 2004 until October 26, 2016 on Syfy. The original program spanned eleven seasons with 230 episodes, not including 10 specials. The series was revived in early 2019 and aired two news seasons of 20 episodes, not including two specials, from August 21, 2019 to October 30, 2019 on A&E. The A&E reboot premiered on April 8, 2020.

Sightings is an American paranormal and news television show that originally aired in the 1990s. The show began as a special titled The UFO Report: Sightings on October 17, 1991, as well as eventual follow up reports, Ghost Report and the Psychic Experience. The original Concept Creator and Supervising Producer of that hour special produced by Paramount for Fox TV was Linda Moulton Howe, an Emmy Award-winning TV producer and documentary filmmaker of TV specials about science and the environment. Ghost Stalkers is an American paranormal television series that premiered on October 19, 2014, in the United States on Destination America. It is executive produced by Nick Groff of Ghost Adventures. The series features a duo of paranormal investigators that came together over their near-death experiences. They want to prove there are portals in the world's most haunted locations. The show formerly aired on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. But by episode 4, was moved to Thursdays at 9:00pm EST.

<i>Ghosted</i> (TV series)

Ghosted is an American supernatural sitcom that premiered on Fox on October 1, 2017. The series debuted via streaming on the social media website Twitter on September 21 and 24, 2017. The show stars Craig Robinson and Adam Scott as two polar opposites recruited to investigate paranormal activity in Los Angeles. On November 29, 2017, it was announced that Fox had ordered 6 more episodes, for a total of 16. On June 28, 2018, Fox canceled the series after one season.
