Gihan Premachandra (born May 30, 1980) was a Sri Lankan cricketer who played for Antonians. He was born in Colombo.
Premachandra made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1999–2000 Premier Championship. Batting in the tailend, he scored 2 not out in the first innings, and 4 in the second innings, as teammates Buddhika Ekanayake and Chandana Samarasinghe were recorded as being absent ill in the second innings.
Sir Alastair Nathan Cook is an English former cricketer and former captain of the England Test and One-Day International (ODI) teams. He is considered one of the greatest opening batsmen in Test cricket. Cook is the fifth-highest Test run scorer of all time and leading run scorer for England ever. The 2018–19 Premier League Tournament was the 31st season of first-class cricket in Sri Lanka's Premier Trophy. The tournament started on 30 November 2018 and concluded on 10 February 2019. Fourteen teams took part in Tier A of the competition, split into two groups of seven. Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club finished in last place in the previous tournament, and were relegated to Tier B for this season. Negombo Cricket Club replaced them for this years' competition after they won the 2017–18 Premier League Tournament Tier B title. Chilaw Marians Cricket Club were the defending champions.
