Ginger & The Sonic Circus is a collective of friends and musicians led by The Wildhearts frontman Ginger (David Walls).
The Wildhearts are an English rock group, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as The Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. However, this characterization is denied by the band, who see their influences as being far broader, as shown in the song "29 X The Pain", which lists many of group leader Ginger's influences. Despite several top 20 singles and one top 10 album in Britain, the Wildhearts have not achieved major commercial success, owing in part to difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to recreational drugs and depression. Much of the band's early career was affected by bitter feuds with their record company, East West.
Ginger formed the band following the 2005 split of The Wildhearts with guitarist/ producer Jason Edwards (Wolfsbane) and Jon Poole (The Wildhearts/ Cardiacs), they were soon joined by Conny Bloom (Hanoi Rocks) and Vickie (Vix) Perks (We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It). The project was initially intended to be a one off, but all involved felt that it should be explored further following their first successful performance. They went on to headline the Gibson stage at the 2006 Download festival and did several dates in the US and Japan as well as a couple of UK tours before 'The Wildhearts' eventually reformed, putting plans on hold.
Wolfsbane are an English heavy metal band. Formed in 1984, the band remained active until lead singer Blaze Bayley went on to join Iron Maiden in 1994. After a couple of reunion shows in 2007 and 2009, Wolfsbane officially reunited in June 2010. To date, Wolfsbane have released four studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, two EPs and three demos. In 2012, a lost "Live in the Studio" recording was found in Jase Edwards' loft and was mastered and released as a special, "available only on tour", making it a rare limited edition. The band have had a few changes in their line-up since their formation.
Cardiacs are an English rock band formed in 1977, originally as Cardiac Arrest, led by Tim Smith. Noted for their complex, varied and intense compositional style and for their eccentric, theatrical stage shows, they have been hailed as an influence by bands as diverse as Blur, Faith No More and Radiohead.
Conny Bloom is the stage name for Ulf Conny Blomqvist, who is a Swedish guitarist and songwriter. He is best known as the frontman for the funk metal band, Electric Boys. Bloom also served a stint as a guitarist of the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks and in Silver Ginger 5

Ginger And The Sonic Circus have not released any material, as they were originally formed to play music from Ginger's first solo album Valor Del Corazon.
Ginger has said that he is planning a Ginger And The Sonic Circus album, but release dates are unknown.
Jonathan "Jon" Charles Poole is an English multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter. He is best known for his work as guitarist for Cardiacs (1991–2004) and as bass player for The Wildhearts and Lifesigns (2014-present).
We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It!! or simply Fuzzbox are an English alternative rock group. Formed in Birmingham in 1985, the all-female quartet originally consisted of Vix, Magz, Jo Dunne and Tina O'Neill. The band's name was shortened to Fuzzbox for the U.S. release of their first album. They disbanded in 1990 after releasing two studio albums, and reunited in 2010 for a series of concerts. A second reunion was confirmed in 2015.

The Great White Monkey is an acoustic live album that was available to buy at acoustic performances by The Wildhearts frontman Ginger. The album was recorded at the Rugeley Rose Theatre in Staffordshire England on 27 September 2003. The show itself consisted of two sets, however the recording was a single CD that was one condensed set featuring a mixture of tracks from both sets. The album proved incredibly popular, with early copies of the album fetching over £80 on eBay. An expanded 2-CD version containing both sets was released by Round Records on 1 June 2009.
Live Begins at 40 is a live album The Wildhearts frontman Ginger that was available to buy through mail order. It was recorded at Ginger's 40th Birthday Bash live at The Marquee, London, 17 December 2004. The show consisted of two sets, however the CD was a condensed version of both. Ginger has hinted they will release a two-disc special edition of the full concert.
