A greatest hits album, sometimes called a "best of" album or a catalog album, is a compilation of songs by a particular artist or band. Most often the track list contains previously released recordings with a high degree of notability. However, to increase the appeal, especially to people who already own the original releases, it is common to include remixes or alternate takes of popular songs; sometimes even new material will function as bonus tracks. At times, a greatest hits compilation is the original album release for songs that have been released as singles and charted successfully.
The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as The Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. The Wildhearts achieved several top 20 singles and one top 10 album in Britain, though they also faced difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to recreational drugs and depression. Much of the band's early career was affected by bitter feuds with their record company, East West.
Brides of Destruction was a short-lived American hard rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2002. The band's last lineup consisted of singer London LeGrand (vocals), Tracii Guns and Scot Coogan. Previous members of the band were Nikki Sixx (bass), Kris Kohls (drums), Adam Hamilton (keyboard), John Corabi, Scott Sorry (bass) and Ginger.
Wolfsbane are an English hard rock band. Formed in 1984, the band initially remained active until lead singer Blaze Bayley went on to join Iron Maiden in 1994. After a couple of reunion shows in 2007 and 2009, Wolfsbane officially reunited in June 2010. To date, Wolfsbane have released four studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, two EPs and three demos. In 2012, a lost "Live in the Studio" recording was found in Jase Edwards' loft and was mastered and released as a special, "available only on tour", making it a rare limited edition. The band have had a few changes in their line-up since their formation.
We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It!! or simply Fuzzbox are an English alternative rock group. Formed in Birmingham in 1985, the all-female quartet originally consisted of Vix, Magz, Jo Dunne and Tina O'Neill. The band's name was shortened to Fuzzbox for the U.S. release of their first album. They disbanded in 1990 after releasing two studio albums, and reunited in 2010 for a series of concerts. A second reunion was confirmed in 2015.

Landmines & Pantomimes is a compilation by The Wildhearts including unreleased demo tracks and the B-sides to the cancelled 'In Lilly's Garden' single. The album was compiled and released by the record company without authorization from the band. The songs 'Weekend '96', 'Beautiful Me, Beautiful You' and 'All-American Homeboy Crowd' have been officially released in different recorded versions, while Wildhearts leader Ginger has occasionally performed 'Tom Take the Money' live during solo tours.
Coupled With is a compilation album by The Wildhearts, released on Gut Records in March 2004. The album collects almost all the B-sides recorded by the band and released on various CD and vinyl singles during their reformation and comeback in the 2001-2003 period. The A-sides of most of these single releases appear on the 2003 studio album The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed. The exception to this pattern is "Stormy in the North, Karma in the South" which was recorded as a non-album A-side for its own single release. One B-side not included here is the instrumental version of "Dancin'" from the 7" single for "So Into You".
Duets is a compilation album by American singer Barbra Streisand, released on November 26, 2002, by Columbia Records. The collection features nineteen duets from Streisand's career, including two newly-recorded ones: "I Won't Be the One to Let Go" with Barry Manilow and "All I Know of Love" with Josh Groban. The former song was released as the album's lead single on November 4, 2002, as a streaming-only exclusive for AOL Music website members.
