Giuseppe Devastato (born in Napoli) is an Italian pianist and composer.
Italian pianist and composer Giuseppe Devastato was born in Napoli, Italy. He recorded many movie soundtracks for the film industry, for television and radio stations in Europe and America. Including soundtracks for Warner Chappell Music, CAM and Rai 5. On December 9, 2011, he was awarded the "International Prize Cartagine" to human merit and professional achievements in the "MUSIC" section, for the dissemination of music in general - and Italian music in particular - around the world, in virtue of the merits acquired as a pianist and composer, with the intention to spread the world of classical music: "His actions show high sensitivity and a deep love for life. His playing is intended to imitate the human voice and is inspired by the art of Bel Canto of the Neapolitan School". Currently he lives in Madrid, Spain, is Piano Professor at Musical Arts Madrid and Accademia Musicale Europea".

Giuseppe Saverio Raffaele Mercadante was an Italian composer, particularly of operas. While Mercadante may not have retained the international celebrity of Gaetano Donizetti or Gioachino Rossini beyond his own lifetime, he composed as prolific a number of works as either; and his development of operatic structures, melodic styles and orchestration contributed significantly to the foundations upon which Giuseppe Verdi built his dramatic technique.
Mstislav Leopoldovich Rostropovich was a Russian cellist and conductor. In addition to his interpretations and technique, he was well known for both inspiring and commissioning new works, which enlarged the cello repertoire more than any cellist before or since. Lang is considered by many as one of the most accomplished classical musicians of modern times.

Giuseppe Siboni was an Italian operatic tenor, opera director, choir conductor, and voice teacher. He began his career in his native country in 1797 and actively performed in major Italian opera houses up through 1818. From 1806 to 1809, he performed successfully in London, and from 1810 to 1814, he was active in Vienna, where he enjoyed the friendship of Ludwig van Beethoven. He played a critical role in Danish musical life from 1819 until his death in 1839. In 1819, he joined the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen, where he worked first as a singer and later as director of the opera chorus and head director. In 1827 he founded the Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen. He was married three times during his life, including his second marriage to the sister of poet Franz von Schober. His third marriage produced a son, the composer and pianist Erik Siboni (1828–1892).
The Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Gioachino Rossini" is a music conservatory in Pesaro, Italy. Founded in 1869 with a legacy from the composer Gioachino Rossini, the conservatory officially opened in 1882 with 67 students and was then known as the Liceo musicale Rossini. By 2010 it had an enrollment of approximately 850 students studying for higher diplomas in singing, instrumental performance, composition, musicology, choral conducting, jazz or electronic music. The conservatory also trains music teachers for secondary schools and holds regular master classes. Its seat is the 18th century Palazzo Olivieri–Machirelli on the Piazza Oliveri in Pesaro. Amongst its past Directors are the composers Carlo Pedrotti, Pietro Mascagni, Riccardo Zandonai and Franco Alfano. Mascagni's opera Zanetto had its world premiere at the conservatory in 1896.
Andres Carciente is a Venezuelan pianist. He was born and graduated in Caracas as a Performer Professor of Piano. In Venezuela he studied with the American/Venezuelan pianist Harriet Serr and chamber music with Judit Jaimes. His debut as a soloist was playing Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto Nr. 1 with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra. Soon after that he won First Prize at the Young Soloist Competition organized by the Symphonic Orchestra of Venezuela.
Federico Jusid is an Argentine composer who resides and works between Madrid and Los Angeles. He has written the scores for more than 40 feature films and over 25 television series.
His work includes the score for the Academy Award-winner for Best Foreign Film The Secret in Their Eyes, for which he received the nomination for the Spanish Academy Goya Award for Best Original Score.
He has recently worked with Alberto Iglesias writing additional compositions for the original score of Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings, and he has also composed the OST for Kidnap with Halle Berry, and Happy 140. Other notable scores include The Life Unexpected, Everybody Has a Plan, The Escape, The Hidden Face, I Want to Be a Soldier, and more recently Magallanes, Getulio, The Ignorance of Blood, Betibu or Francis, Father Jorge.
On television, his most recognised work is the soundtrack for the Spanish historical drama Isabel, with whom he won several awards, such as International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) Award and Reel Music Award. In 2015 he made the score for the TV series Under Suspicion and The Refugees and just released the historic drama Charles, King Emperor, sequel of Isabel.
He has also composed works for concert hall premiered throughout Europe and America by recognized soloist and chamber ensembles. As a pianist and composer, he has performed and toured prestigious theaters in Europe, Asia and America. He recorded for labels BMG, IRCO, Magenta Discos and Melopea.
Sebastiano Biancardi, known by the pseudonym Domenico Lalli, was an Italian poet and librettist. Amongst the many libretti he produced, largely for the opera houses of Venice, were those for Vivaldi's Ottone in villa and Alessandro Scarlatti's Tigrane. A member of the Accademia degli Arcadi, he also wrote under his arcadian name "Ortanio". Lalli was born and raised in Naples as the adopted son of Fulvio Caracciolo but fled the city after being implicated in a bank fraud. After two years wandering about Italy in the company of Emanuele d'Astorga, he settled in Venice in 1710 and worked as the "house poet" of the Grimani family's theatres for the rest of his career. In addition to his stage works, Lalli published several volumes of poetry and a collection of biographies of the kings of Naples. He died in Venice at the age of 62.
Maria Cecilia Fusco was an Italian operatic soprano and voice teacher. In a long career, she appeared regularly at La Scala in Milan, and leading opera houses in Italy and abroad. Her broad repertoire included works from early Italian opera to premieres of contemporary opera.
