Glenn Triggs (born 1 April 1983) is an Australian screenwriter, director, producer, editor, and music composer. He has directed such films as The Comet Kids (2017), 41 (2012), Apocalyptic (2014), and Dreams of Paper & Ink (2022).
Triggs grew up in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. In his final year of high school, Triggs's first attempt at a feature film, No One, was selected for the Top Arts awards.
Triggs studied film and television at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2003 at the age of 19. He has since gone on to write, produce, and direct more than forty short films and six features independently, including Cinnamon Rain (2001), The Babyslitter (2003), and Lunar (2005).

Wolf Creek is a 2005 Australian horror film written, co-produced and directed by Greg McLean and starring John Jarratt, Nathan Phillips, Cassandra Magrath and Kestie Morassi. Its plot concerns three backpackers who find themselves taken captive and subsequently hunted by Mick Taylor, a sadistic, psychopathic, xenophobic serial killer, in the Australian outback. The film was ambiguously marketed as being "based on true events", while its plot bore elements reminiscent of the real-life murders of backpackers by Ivan Milat in the 1990s and Bradley Murdoch in 2001, both of which McLean used as inspiration for the screenplay.

He was the first author from outside North America or Europe to hold the position of president of the Horror Writers Association. Wood was born in Wellington, New Zealand and lived in Melbourne, Australia with his family. He had been a freelance writer for over 35 years. His writing career began at university, where he wrote a national newspaper column in New Zealand on extra-terrestrial life and UFO-related phenomena and published other articles about the phenomenon worldwide, in the course of which research he met such figures as Erich von Däniken and J. Allen Hynek; and had articles on the security industry published in the US, Canada, the UK, New Zealand and South Africa. In October 2010, Wood was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. He died of complications on 1 December 2014.
