The Glitterbug Tour 2015 is a major concert tour by Liverpool alternative band the Wombats, in support of their third studio album Glitterbug , which was released in April 2015. The band played 121 shows in 22 different countries.
The tour started in January 2015 with a set of warm up shows in the UK and USA. [1] The full tour began in March across continental Europe, continuing in the United Kingdom following the release of the album Glitterbug. [2] This was followed by a tour of America in late April and May. The band then appeared in festivals across the world during the summer, including Splendour in the Grass where the band drew the largest crowd of the festival. The band followed this with additional tours of Europe, the United States and Australia, where they headlined the Byron Bay leg of Falls Festival on New Year's Eve. The tour concluded at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on 3 January 2016.
Notable absentees from the setlist were 2007 hit single "Backfire at the Disco" and "Anti-D", as well as previous regular "Euroscheisse" only making infrequent appearances.

Combichrist is an American aggrotech / industrial metal band formed in 2003 by Norwegian vocalist Andy LaPlegua, who also founded the bands Icon of Coil, Panzer AG, Scandinavian Cock and Scandy. Combichrist was formed in Atlanta, Georgia. The band consists of only LaPlegua in the studio, with a changing lineup of live performing members. Releases by the band have been very successful in terms of sales and charted in top positions for dance and alternative charts worldwide.
Makuhari Messe (幕張メッセ) is a Japanese convention center outside Tokyo, located in the Mihama-ku ward of Chiba City, in the northwest corner of Chiba Prefecture. Designed by Fumihiko Maki, it is accessible by Tokyo's commuter rail system. Makuhari is the name of the area, and Messe is a German language word meaning "trade fair".
The Wombats are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003, consisting of Matthew Murphy, Tord Øverland Knudsen, and Dan Haggis. Gocoo, or GOCOO (ゴクウ) are originally seven female and four male Taiko drummers from Tokyo (Japan). On stage Gocoo performs with up to 16 artists. Gocoo performed at major Music & Arts, Blues & Roots, Rock & Pop and alternative Rock festivals, in live clubs, classic theatres and concert halls or at techno events. Lead drummer, Kaoly Asano (浅野香), attracts much attention as a female Taiko artist. Whenever not performing with Gocoo on stage, she teaches the art of playing the Taiko at her Tawoo Taiko Dojo in Tokyo.

Matthew Edward Murphy is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of The Wombats, which he co-founded in 2003. He began a solo career under the name Love Fame Tragedy in 2018.

"Techno Fan" is a single from the indie-rock band The Wombats. The single was released as an EP in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2011 as a digital download on iTunes including three B-sides: "Avalanche", "Trampolining" and "Shock Goodbyes and P45's". This is the 4th single from the album This Modern Glitch, following "Tokyo ", "Jump Into the Fog" and "Anti-D". The single peaked at number 60 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was featured in the online game Fifa 11 as part of its backing track. On the week of 22 October, it re-entered the charts at #84 following its use in airline easyJet's new television commercial.
Bright Antenna Records is an independent record label, founded in 2007 and based in Mill Valley, California. The label was created by producer Sep V and by writer Tiffanie DeBartolo and named after the lyrics to the song "The Spirit of Radio" by Rush. Bright Antenna specializes in artist development and, in addition to its label services, operates an online store for its vinyl and specialty products. BA's staff includes A&R veteran Braden Merrick, who discovered and broke The Killers.
Falling in Reverse is an American rock band that formed in 2008 by lead vocalist Ronnie Radke. The band's original name was "From Behind These Walls", but it was quickly renamed to Falling in Reverse shortly after formation. They are currently signed to Epitaph Records. The band has undergone numerous lineup changes, with Radke being the only remaining original member.
Glitterbug is the third major studio album by British rock band The Wombats. The album was produced by Mark Crew alongside the band themselves, and was released on the 13th of April 2015. The first single from the album, "Your Body Is a Weapon", was released on iTunes on the 2nd of October 2013 in the United Kingdom and the 3rd of December in the United States. This was followed by "Greek Tragedy", "Give Me a Try", "Be Your Shadow" and "Emoticons". To celebrate the album's release, the Glitterbug B Sides EP was released on the same day. The album entered the UK charts at #5 and reached #2 in Australia, as well as charting at #91 in the US, becoming the band's first to appear in the Billboard 200. The band supported the album with their Glitterbug Tour 2015.

The Lay It On Me Tour was the third major concert tour by Australian singer and songwriter Vance Joy, in support of his first studio album, Dream Your Life Away (2014) and second studio album, Nation of Two (2018). The tour began on 27 September 2017, in Vancouver, Canada and concluded on 15 December 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States.
