Gran Hermano Dúo is a spin-off of the Spanish reality TV franchise Gran Hermano . The first season was launched in January 2019 on Telecinco. Jorge Javier Vázquez is the host of this version of the show. Jordi González came back as the host of the weekly Debate.^[1] The format is that housemates will be entering in the house with a current or former relationship.

Housemates

The first official housemates of the season, Kiko Rivera and Irene Rosales, were announced on 20 December 2018, during the finale of Gran Hermano VIP 6 .^[2] The rest of the housemates were confirmed days later and, some of them, during the first program of the season.

Repechage

The first 6 evicted housemates would face an online voting that will decide which 3 of them will return to the house as candidates to officially become as official housemates.

The repechage was officially announced on Day 45 (21 February 2019). All the evicted housemates (Fede, Yurena, Candela, Sofía, Fortu and Yoli) faced the voting. The 3 most voted housemates entered the house on Day 48, while Fede was the housemate with fewest votes on Day 50 and Sofía was the most voted and became an official housemate on Day 52, therefore Candela was re-evicted.

Big Brother México is a reality television series based on the international Big Brother format produced in the Netherlands by Endemol. Big Brother México was launched by Televisa in 2002. Before its debut, the idea of being watched twenty-four hours a day by a camera was shocking to some in Mexican society. The series was successful, and it was followed by a special edition called Big Brother VIP with Mexican celebrities from show business and even politics.

Gran Hermano is the Argentine version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother produced by Endemol. The show is currently hosted by Santiago del Moro, taking over after Jorge Rial and previously Soledad Silveyra. The show first aired on 10 March 2001 on Telefe and aired seven regular and one Celebrity season until 16 April 2012. It was on hiatus for three years until 29 April 2015, when a revival of the series began airing on América TV for two seasons until 24 August 2016. After a six-year break, the show returned to Telefe for its tenth season that premiered on 17 October 2022. Gran Hermano was renewed for an eleventh season on 27 March 2023, and a twelfth season on 3 July 2024.

Gran Hermano VIP 2 was the second season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series which was broadcast in Spain on Telecinco and La Siete and produced by Endemol. The show lasted 71 days from January 6, 2005 to March 17, 2005. Ivonne Armant emerged as the winner.

El Reencuentro 2011, also known as El Reencuentro: diez años después premiered on 17 March 2011 and will end the 2 May 2011 lasting 47 days. It's the second season for the reality show El Reencuentro. In this season, there are contestants of several famous realities from Telecinco. Big Brother Mzansi: Double Trouble is the second season of the South African Big Brother reality television reboot series produced by Endemol for M-Net and Mzansi Magic. The main twist of the season is that every contestant has to keep a secret, a game mechanics from the Secret Story franchise. In case a competitor reveals voluntarily his secret, they will lose €100,000 of the final prize. The season was won by 19-year-old Sofía Suescun on Day 102.

On the Grand Finale of Gran Hermano 16 it was officially confirmed GHVIP would start in January.

Gran Hermano 17 is the seventeenth season of Gran Hermano, the Spanish version of the reality television series franchise Big Brother. The 17th season started airing on September 8, 2016 on Telecinco. On Wednesday June 29, Mediaset announced an official statement that Mercedes Mila left the show after 16 years, and was replaced by Jorge Javier Vázquez.

Gran Hermano VIP 5 was the fifth season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series. The series was launched in January 2017 on Telecinco. Jordi González returned to host the series, as Sandra Barneda has been confirmed to be back as the host of the weekly Debate. Also, Lara Álvarez would be back to co-host directly from the house. The season premiered the 8th of January. The motto of this season is Enter as you can.

Big Brother Brasil 17 is the seventeenth season of Big Brother Brasil which premiered January 23, 2017 on the Rede Globo. The show is produced by Endemol Globo and presented by Tiago Leifert.

Supervivientes 2017: Perdidos en Honduras is the twelfth season of the show Supervivientes and the sixteenth season of Survivor to air in Spain and it was broadcast on Telecinco in early 2017.

Big Brother Brasil 18 was the eighteenth season of Big Brother Brasil which premiered on January 22, 2018, on the Rede Globo. The show was produced by Endemol Globo and presented by Tiago Leifert.

<i>Gran Hermano VIP</i> season 6 Season of television series

Gran Hermano VIP 6 was the sixth season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series. The season was launched on 13 September 2018 on Telecinco. Jorge Javier Vazquez became the new host of the show, continuing his job as host of the last two Civilian seasons. Sandra Barneda has been confirmed to be back as the host of the weekly Debate. The motto of this season is "Who will dare?"

Gran Hermano VIP 7 was the seventh season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series. The season was launched in September 2019 on Telecinco. Jorge Javier Vázquez was the host of the show and Jordi González has been confirmed to be back as the host of the weekly Debate.

<i>Big Brother</i> (Portuguese TV series) season 6 Season of television series

Big Brother 6, also known as Big Brother: A Revolução, is the sixth season of the Portuguese version of the reality show Big Brother. It's the second original format of Big Brother to air in 2020, one month after the fifth season ended on 2 August 2020. It was also revealed on 5 July 2020 during the live eviction show that the audition for Big Brother 6 was open and the show will be called "Big Brother: A Revolução". The show is featuring a new format and rules, housemates will have to be more interactive and competitive in the house if they want to win.

Gran Hermano VIP 8 is the eighth season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series which premiered on September 14, 2023, on Telecinco.

Big Brother Brasil 22 was the twenty-second season of Big Brother Brasil, which premiered on TV Globo on January 17, 2022. The show is produced by Globo and presented by Tadeu Schmidt, he who makes his debut as the new host of the series.

Big Brother Brasil 23 was the twenty-third season of Big Brother Brasil, which premiered on TV Globo on January 16, 2023. The show was produced by Globo and hosted by Tadeu Schmidt, who returned for his second season as the host.

<i>Gran Hermano Dúo 2</i> Spanish television show

Gran Hermano Dúo 2 is the second season of Gran Hermano Dúo, spin-off of the Spanish reality TV franchise Gran Hermano. The season was launched on 11 January 2024 on Telecinco. Marta Flich is the host of this version of the show, and Ion Aramendi is the host of the weekly Debate.
