Greatest Dishes In The World is a British five-part cooking based television programme from 2005 presented by Naomi Cleaver. Each week some of Britain's best chefs prepare what they consider to be the best dishes in the world. At the end of the programme restaurant critics judge each dish and decide which is the best. By the end of the series each dish will make up the 'Greatest Menu in the World'.

Hortobágyi palacsinta is a savoury Hungarian crêpe dish, filled with meat. The meat is prepared as a stew with onions, and seasoned with hot paprika, garlic, salt and pepper, using veal, beef, chicken or Hungarian sausage. The sauce is drained from the stew and set aside. The crêpes are then filled with the stew, tucking in the ends. The sauce is then poured generously over the crepes, topped with and tejföl and fresh parsley. A popular serving option in Hungary to roll up the filled crêpes, or fold them into half and then rolling them up on the shorter side. The rolled up crêpes then can be stacked on each other with the sauce poured over them.

Britain's Best Dish is a British daytime cookery show part of the ITV Food category on ITV and hosted by Mary Nightingale. From October 2011, the competition was rebranded as simply Best Dish with new graphics and a new look studio.

Food Glorious Food is a British cooking competition show that aired on ITV from 27 February to 24 April 2013, hosted by Carol Vorderman with judges Tom Parker Bowles, Loyd Grossman, Anne Harrison, Stacie Stewart and Andi Oliver who was a guest judge for the Harrogate heats. The competition, in which anyone of any age could enter, searched the country looking for the best home cooked dish, with the winner receiving £20,000 and their dish made and sold by Marks & Spencer.
Cutthroat Kitchen is an American cooking show hosted by Alton Brown that aired on the Food Network from August 11, 2013 to July 19, 2017. It features four chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition. The contestants face auctions in which they can purchase opportunities to sabotage one another. Each chef is given $25,000 at the start of the show; the person left standing keeps whatever money they have not spent in the auctions. The show ended on its 15th season in July 2017. The series shares some basic elements with other four-chef, three-round elimination-style competitions on Food Network including Chopped and Guy's Grocery Games. Numerous Cutthroat Kitchen contestants have competed on these shows.
The Final Table is an American cooking competition and reality television series hosted by food writer and critic Andrew Knowlton, and filmed in Los Angeles, California for Netflix. The first season was released on November 20, 2018. It features twelve international teams of two professional chefs each competing to create elevated dishes based on the country chosen for each episode. The first round is judged by a three-person panel—a food critic, and two culturally significant citizens, all representing the episode's country—assessing each team's interpretation of their chosen nationally significant dish. Interspersed among the cooking activities are video packages featuring the culinary biographies of the contestants.
