Biography
Greg McDonald grew up in a Suffolk village close to Bury St Edmunds, where he and school friend Nick Morley formed The Dawn Parade. Also featuring Barney Wade (bass) and Ben Jennings (drums), The Dawn Parade signed to Cambridge-based indie label Repeat Records, toured extensively, and recorded two Peel Session. In 2003 a new line-up of McDonald on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Jones (lead guitar), Mark Sewell (drums, vocals), and Steve McLoughlin (bass) recorded debut album The Dawn Parade, released on Repeat Records. In August 2006 the band split, McDonald saying, "I wouldn't have missed it for the world and I didn't."
In late 2007, McDonald's first solo outings marked a darker tone and new acoustic direction as he returned to playing live as a solo performer and with singers Catherine McDonald and Emily Jukes and musicians Jeremy Jones, Sam Inglis and Seymour Patrick.
In January 2008, McDonald announced the forthcoming release of his debut solo album, Stranger At The Door.
2018 saw the release of Glymjack's debut album Light the Evening Fire, featuring Phil Beer, Steve Knightley, Gemma Gayner, Dickon Collinson, Miranda Sykes, Evan Carson and Tom Peters.
In 2019 through to 2021, McDonald’s Glymjack recruited accomplished percussionist Jesse Benns for several large festival shows, including Cambridge Folk Festival, New Forest Folk Festival and Lakefest.

Blue Orchids are an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 1979, when Martin Bramah left the Fall, after playing on the band's debut album Live at the Witch Trials. Christened by Salford-based punk poet John Cooper Clarke the band recorded for Rough Trade and acted as backing band for the Velvet Underground's Nico before a 25-year period of intermittent activity and fluctuating line-ups.
Steve Zing is an American drummer and bassist. He has performed with Implosion, Mourning Noise, and The Undead before joining Samhain.

Alexander Gregor Pennie was previously in Welsh band The Automatic from the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, where he provided backing vocals as well as playing synthesizers and keyboards for the act. Pennie left The Automatic in late 2007. Since then he has been in other bands, the latest of which was the Goodtime Boys, which disbanded in 2015.
Judith Aileen Dyble was an English singer-songwriter, most notable for being a vocalist and a founding member of Fairport Convention and Trader Horne. In addition, she and Ian McDonald joined and recorded several tracks with Giles, Giles and Fripp, who later became King Crimson. These tracks surfaced on the Brondesbury Tapes CD and Metaphormosis vinyl LP.
The Shaky Hands were a Portland, Oregon-based rock group, formed in 2003 by musician Paul Culp, and Colin Anderson. Nicholas Delffs joined soon after on vocals and guitar. They spent the next three years gradually building a following in the Portland area and self-releasing two CDs, one informally called The Skidmore Days, which is a lo-fi full-length album recorded in future guitarist Jeff Lehman's North Portland basement and mixed by Alex Arrowsmith. They also released a self-titled EP informally referred to as the Bonnie Doon EP, in reference to the location it was recorded. The Shaky Hands were signed to Holocene Music in late 2006. By this time, the lineup had changed considerably, with Mayhaw Hoons replacing Culp on bass and the addition of second guitarist Jeff Lehman. Nathan Delffs joined shortly thereafter on percussion and lap steel. Their sound is a fusion of 1960s style British Invasion bands such as The Kinks, The Who and The Zombies and American folk-rock in the vein of Neil Young. The result is what many have described as a loose, jangly, rootsy style of indie rock. The Delffs brothers also perform Shaky Hands songs under the Death Songs moniker, a more experimental and folk-oriented side project.

Greg Dulli is an American musician from Hamilton, Ohio. Debuting as a member of the rock band the Afghan Whigs in 1986, Dulli has been a member of the Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins, and in 2020 released his debut solo album, Random Desire. Dulli is known as the voice of John Lennon in the 1994 film Backbeat, and has produced music for musicians such as Afterhours, and is known as a regular collaborator of Mark Lanegan and Joseph Arthur.

Camp Cope were an Australian alternative rock band formed in 2015 in Melbourne, Victoria. The group's lineup consisted of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald, bassist Kelly-Dawn "Kelso" Hellmrich, and drummer Sarah "Thomo" Thompson. The band were signed with independent Melbourne label Poison City Records, where Thompson also works, and independent Boston label Run for Cover Records distributed their releases in North America and Europe. In February 2023, Camp Cope announced their imminent disbandment with a series of final performances.
