Jæren is a traditional district in Rogaland county, Norway. The others districts in Rogaland are Dalane, Ryfylke, and Haugalandet. Jæren is one of the 15 districts that comprise Western Norway.
Hetland is a former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 1965 when it was dissolved. The municipality included the Stavanger Peninsula and the land surrounding both sides of the Gandsfjorden, but not the area around the head of the fjord. It originally encompassed the land surrounding the city of Stavanger in the present-day municipalities of Randaberg and Stavanger and part of the municipality of Sandnes. The main church for Hetland was Hetland Church. Upon its dissolution in 1965, the 92-square-kilometre (36 sq mi) municipality had 24,173 residents.

Rogfast or the Rogaland Fixed Link is a sub-sea road tunnel under construction between the municipalities of Randaberg and Bokn in Rogaland county, Norway. The project will be a world record with respect to its 27-kilometre (17 mi) length and its maximum depth of 392 metres (1,286 ft) below sea level. This will be a part of the main European route E39 highway along the west coast of Norway and it will link the cities of Kristiansand – Stavanger – Haugesund – Bergen.
Ytre Tasta is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the northern part of the mainland borough of Tasta. The Indre Tasta neighborhood lies to the south, the Gandsfjorden is to the east, and the municipality of Randaberg is to the north and west. The neighborhood has a population of 7,909 which is distributed over an area of 6.01 square kilometres (2.32 sq mi). Vardeneset Church is located in this neighborhood.
Randaberg Stadion is an association football stadium just outside the village of Randaberg in the municipality of Randaberg in Rogaland county, Norway. It is the home ground of the Randaberg IL football team. The stadium was renovated and expanded in 2005.
Sandneshallen is an indoor multi-use arena in Sandved, Norway. It consists of an athletics track with four oval lanes and other relevant facilities, and a sports field to be used for handball, basketball and floorball in the middle. The building was a cooperation between the Norwegian state, Rogaland County Municipality and the municipalities Sandnes, Stavanger and Randaberg. It opened on 1 June 2011, and was the second indoor athletics venue in Norway, after Ranheimhallen.
The Byfjord Tunnel is a subsea road tunnel in Rogaland county, Norway. The 5,875-metre (19,275 ft) long tunnel runs between Grødem on the mainland in Randaberg and the island of Sokn in Rennesøy municipality, running underneath the Byfjorden. The tunnel was built as part of the Rennesøy Fixed Link project which opened in 1992 with the goal of connecting all the islands of Rennesøy to the mainland. The tunnel was a toll road from 1992 until 2006. The tunnel is part of European route E39 highway. With a maximum 8% grade, the tunnel reaches a depth of 223 metres (732 ft) below sea level at its lowest point. The tunnel held the distinction of being Europe's longest and the world's deepest tunnel upon its completion, it was surpassed by a deeper tunnel in 1994 and a longer tunnel in 1999. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 9,717 vehicles in 2018.
Tungenes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located in the municipality of Randaberg in Rogaland county, Norway. The lighthouse is situated at the north end of the Tungenes headland on the tip of Stavanger Peninsula just to the north of the city of Stavanger. The lighthouse is no longer in use, but it is used as a fine arts center and lighthouse/maritime museum. There is also a cafe in one of the buildings. Historically, the lighthouse was the main light marking the entrance to the Byfjorden, the main fjord leading to the important city of Stavanger.

Stavanger Peninsula is a peninsula in Rogaland county, Norway. The peninsula is named for the city of Stavanger, located on its northeastern shore and it includes the most populous parts of Greater Stavanger. The peninsula extends from a line between the Sandnes harbour at the southern end of the Gandsfjorden straight west to the village of Ølbør in Sola. This line runs just south of Stavanger Airport. The peninsula is delimited by the Gandsfjorden, Boknafjorden, Byfjorden, and the North Sea.
Iselin Nybø is a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party, and, as of January 17, Minister for Science and Higher Education in Norway. She was elected to the Parliament of Norway from Rogaland in 2013, where she is the first deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Education, Research, and Church Affairs. Her seat is a levelling seat.

Byfjorden is a fjord in Rogaland county, Norway. The 10-kilometre (6.2 mi) long fjord runs from the Tungenes Lighthouse at the northern end of the Stavanger Peninsula south along the east side of the peninsula to the city of Stavanger. It passes through the municipalities of Randaberg, Rennesøy, and Stavanger. The islands of Bru, Åmøy, Hundvåg, Buøy, Engøy, Sølyst, and Grasholmen lie along the east side of the fjord. The fjord connects to the Boknafjorden at the north end.
Randaberg is the administrative centre of Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located at the northern end of the Stavanger Peninsula, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) west of the village of Grødem and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) northwest of the city centre of Stavanger. The European route E39 highway passes just outside of Randaberg to the east. The village is the site of the municipal administration for Randaberg municipality as well as the site of Randaberg Church.
Grødem Church is a parish church in Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Grødem. The church is part of the Randaberg parish in the Tungenes deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The large, half-circle, concrete church was built in 2000 by the architect Ove Morten Berge. The church, which seats about 500 people, was consecrated on 28 May 2000 by the Bishop Ernst Baasland.
Randaberg Church is a parish church in Randaberg municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Randaberg. The church is part of the Randaberg parish in the Tungenes deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in 1845 to replace the medieval church in Randaberg that is no longer standing. The present church was built using designs by the architect Hans Linstow. The church seats about 460 people.
